About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

Was that a foreshadow of Hillary as election day approaches this November? One could only hope!
Now the global warmists have a reason for why the sun will be cooler for the next decade or so, recovering from the impact. How much you want to bet that when that face of the sun is towards us there isn't even a mark?
If you get a chance watch the documentary on Netflix made by Ron Howard with the last surviving Apollo astronauts that walked on the moon. Six stars. Should be mandatory for anyone that missed
the event. All done by a computer smaller than your i phone
I haven't seen that one yet, but I have a DVD copy of "In The Shadow of The Moon", which was made 10 years ago. Many of the older astronauts who were alive at the time were interviewed for that.
Also, in the late 1980s, "For All Mankind" was released. It approximated a lunar mission using comments by various astronauts from previous documentaries and interviews together with film clips that showed as closely as possible what it was like. Sometimes, however, the documentary uses film shot during Mercury and Gemini missions as nothing comparably suitable was available from Apollo. (Turn up the volume when the Saturn V engines start up! Woohoo!!)
In perspective, that's about 20 times the rate that the earth orbits the sun.
Is climate change somehow to blame for this?
Can we put on a tax to stop it from happening again?
In ancient times, the appearance of a comet in the sky was interpreted as an omen, foretelling the death of kings and similar misfortunes. Halley's Comet was seen before the Battle of Hastings in 1066. William may have thought it was good luck for him, but things didn't turn out too well for Harold.
Now what does this comet disappearing into the sun signify? Does it mean that good fortune shall follow? If so, in what form? Another President Clinton? The Liberal-Communist-Green Alliance abolishing all other political ideologies, replacing the parliamentary system and the constitution with sharia, and ruling Canada in the name of Allah and Gaia?
Personally, I'm in no hurry to find out.
One of the solar observer satellites must have causght it. We still have 80% of the solar surface under constant surveillance.
