Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

I've learned that although the Legacy Media wants everyone to hear their stories that they apparently never heard the story told by Uncle Remus about Br'er Rabbit, Mr.Fox, and the Tar Baby.
Yes'uh. That Rabbit sure suckered Mr. Fox and the old GOP Guard was indistinguishable from the Leftist Legacy Media when it came time for them to tag/team playing the role of Mr. Fox to Trump's Br'er Rabbit.
Yup.
This graph is not valid if it includes income from assets. I suspect it does as the fluctuation in the one percent seems to correlate with the ups and downs of the stock market.
Comparing earned income I suspect the lines are much closer together.
Of course people who have more assets - the top one percent obviously having more than those in the lower levels derive more of their total income from their assets and in a market where stocks, bonds and housing have all done well - better than earned income growth rates - those with more assets are seeing higher total income growth.
Let's check this graph after the crash.
The above is not to say that there is an issue with lower income growth rates for those earning lower incomes. There is. Those workers whose tasks can be exported to other juristictions or filled using robots and other technology - both skilled and unskilled workers - are not doing well.
But don't blame the one percent for that circumstance.
By all means let's have a discussion about cronyism and bad social policy - read minimum wage hikes and immigration - but let's have it using proper data.
it is time for a "means" test for voters, and give their vote "weight"
I chose not to write about the graph because the politics of envy belong to the socialists.
In order to have fair elections we need a fair and totally unbiased media that just reports the facts. That means the media needs to stop headlining opinions as if they are facts. They need to stop doing what our media has been doing, they are a classic example of media interfering with our democratic process. It's to be noted how changed all political reporting is since the media's choice won the election. Trideau is Mr Perfect.
"In order to have fair elections we need a fair and totally unbiased media that just reports the facts."
No. That's wishful thinking. What would be nice is a media that spans the political spectrum rather than hugging to the centre-left.
When I lived in the UK, I could pick up four newspapers on any given day: The Telegraph (right), The Times (centre right), The Independent (centre left) and The Guardian (left).
If I cared to work my way through these four, I'd have a fairly well balanced perspective on the issues of the day.
What I learned is what a bunch of disgusting dirt bags the GOP and the so-called conservative media and most of the conservative blogs are. They are nothing more than "bought and paid for" useful idiots for the New World Order Neo-Con fascists just like that Clinton skunk.
Yes. However we have yet to see if Trump gets elected whether or not he will be different. Time will tell.
test
What have the GOP conservative Elites learned? Well, yes, should be all of those things but will simply default to Trumpderangedsyndrome because of huge chip on shoulder thing.
Hill lied about her national security lapses - yes yes but Trump has funny hair, ya see. Hill destroyed her Husbands victims - yes yes but Trump isn't politically correct. Hill clearly lied to Benghazi victims' families (the video the video!!) - yes yes but Trump shouldn't point out that terrorist are a huge problem because, well, because it makes the religious conservative Elites look stoopid. There, that argument makes sense because we have to just find a way to keep the cozy Ruling Class game going. You know, the one where political party Elites pretend they are fighting each other but are in cahoots against the masses. Witness Jeb for Hill, Koch for Ryan, bitter McCain, twisting John Batchelor Show.
Am I wrong??

"Our base doesn’t mind fighting for a cause, but if we're not as dedicated as they are, if we can't even commit to win when they commit to doing the dying,"
The Truman doctrine demands only containment...The Wars fought since WWII were designed for a "Stalemate"... Who the hell wants to die for a Stalemate. The bastards in Congress know they betrayed the Military in Korea (Truman), Vietnam (LBJ), & the ME (Obama)... They are not fighting to Win because they don't want to Win... The rules of engagement are the proof of treason...
JMHO
Actually they betrayed the entire western world when the decided to call a halt to WWII without settling things with the Russians who invaded Poland just the same as the Germans did.
That was when the "Containment" began and it set the stage for every war that followed since.
Umm, the problem is this, Oz. The USSA financed the revolution in Russia. How then could they go in and destroy it?
ISIS was created, trained, armed and financed by the USSA. So when Bozzobama sent the military to bomb ISIS when they were fighting Assad in Syria, the USSA bombed Assad's infrastructure and not ISIS. But the lying Bastards told the folks back home that they were fighting ISIS!
Putin put a stop to the lie by going in and bombing ISIS.
Well what this pickle head forgets is affirmative action the openly rejects more skilled intelligent whites in their field because of the color of their skin, ect ect....so throw that in with black lives matter ,and the anti white anti christian anti western rhetoric spewing from all forms of media .....and voi la...introducing trump if he wins which he wont ...massive voter fraud and it just wont happen Hillary is bought and paid for by the Saudis they will pump millions and millions into every single democrat constituency in the USA every single candidate will out fund raise every republican and install their president to her rightful place or should i say attach the strings to their rightful doll.
Um yeah, sure. The Bolsheviks rode in under the rubric "Bread and Peace", commencing their revolution in 1917, the same year that America entered WWI.
Makes perfect sense that even though the Americans were isolationists at the time and didn't want to become entangled fighting the Kaiser that they would spend treasure to pull Russia off of the eastern front giving Russians peace while Americans spent blood and treasure on the western front.
Ignore the fact the the Americans were ill prepared for a European war and had to borrow both second rate tanks and planes from the French.
By the way. I've had a lot of pain lately. Is there any chance that I could get some of what you're smoking?
Ol' Benjy Boxer seems to be living in la-la land - he has figured out that Trump has support, dug up some graphs, and now figures he knows why.
He thinks that illegal immigrants are in insignificant numbers. He likes PEW - so another Pew finding:
http://tinyurl.com/ppbvvax
Did you notice that 3.5% of the nation’s population are illegal? Did you notice that they make up 5.1% of the labor force (either working or looking for for work)?
How does that happen?
Benjy has some of the information in front of him, didn't dig deep enough, saw what he wanted to see in the graphs, and figured that's why Trump had support. The knob also came to the conclusion Clinton was on the right track. Just another self defined elitist with absolutely no understanding of neither numbers or people.
Where do you get the idea that the Americans "gave Russia peace" in WWI? Russia had already lost the war by the time the Americans entered, and were out of the war completely before the Americans could participate. And they got defeat, rather than peace, though of course the one often follows the other.
