A Job Well Done

Nigel Farage has resigned: "During the referendum I said I wanted my country back. Now I want my life back."

One day in the not too distant future. He will become Sir Nigel Farage.

An honour won in defense of Britain. To keep her sovereign and free.

Also, deserving that award is Tommy Robinson, whose courage and contribution to the Brexit vote goes unheralded.

up/like button!

All I heard in the media about Farage, was how he closely resembled Adolph Hitler. Nonstop negative and pejorative attacks on Farage. It made me seriously question whether I should support his crusade. THEN ... I actually heard him speak ... in public ... without notes ... and it all became clear to me. The left is scared shite-lesss of this very smart, educated, principled, man. Donald Trump would do well to study Farage. He will CRUSH Hitlery if he can channel 1/10th of Farage's oratory skill.

Nigel has resigned once or twice before. This time he may mean it. But I agree that he should be knighted... Fat chance.

and the score is Nil-Nil, Nigel!

Nigel has left too soon.

The voices of "Remain" are working overtime to have the referendum results nullified and Britain stay in the EU debacle.

I doubt England will leave, the enemy will regroup and fear monger the average Limey until they decide to stay.

I fear that you are right.

Larry, I second that motion.

I suspect Nigel just wants to go home and take a long hot shower to wash all the autocratic hubris off himself after wading through it day in day out in Brussels.

Farage's family has been harassed over the last year. This may have had something to do with it.

kenji, the truth has eluded the media for decades now.

That may be, but nevertheless the optics aren't so good. It just gives ammo to those who say he went into this blindly.

The thing about Farage that makes his smart is the fact that he is not "educated". As a young man he opted not to go to university so he could actually start working for a living.

A CLASSY AND HONOURABLE MOVE!

Something rare in a politician, nowadays!

My favourite British politician since the passing of Lady Thatcher.

If the country of the Magna Carta reverses the vote of the people there is no hope.
It's over.

I feel that he should remain a politician, Britain needs him; but I also understand that now that Britain has thrown off Europe, this is probably the best time to go back to being a businessman.
