I wonder if this forced their hand. Russians have been into the DNC systems for a year. Russians steal research on Trump in hack of U.S. Democratic Party
Hackers believed to be working for the Russian government broke into the Democratic National Committee’s computer network, spied on internal communications and accessed research on presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, the committee and security experts said on Tuesday.
Two separate groups entered the DNC’s system, and one read email and chat communications for nearly a year before being detected, according to the committee and CrowdStrike, the cyber firm that helped clean up the breach.
It seems to me that Russia would prefer Hillary (vs Trump) as POTUS considering how pliable and up-for-sale she’s been. If they wanted her to lose, they’d have released them already. So I’d have to assume that this is blackmail, with Obama implicated, and that the Russians will disappear their email cache in exchange for some sort of favor(s).
A foreign power messing with a U.S. election ….. what could go wrong? Americans might react to this in ways which are totally unexpected.
I find this to be just a bit of disinformation by the KBG (Mr. Putin). But by all means throw a threat out there. Wheels within wheels….

Meanwhile Hillary warns the world hackers are everywhere, without a single question as to why she didn’t properly protect classified information. Give people a pass depending on their ideology, sure that sounds like a good idea. Sure that makes sense – obviously gun control is the solution, because it has worked so well in France and Belgium. BTW rather than admitting America is at war, Obama prefers to blame Americans, to war against legal gun owners; but Trump is “divisive?”

Putin thinks that if he can restore a sense of competition in the Russian people like they felt under the Soviet system, they may rise to the occasion. They might turn Russia around.
Nothing else has worked, so this is Vladimir Putin’s best bet. If he succeeds, great for Putin and Russia. If he fails, by 2050 Russia will be a depopulated shell of its self, and fought over by the fecund Islamic minorities and the Chinese masses.
He sees Trump as a person that he can work with, and more importantly, PEACEFULLY compete with. Trump wants to build up the US Military. Putin will be happy to compete with Trump by building up the Russian Military. Why? It is jobs, technology, and PRESTIGE. Russian Prestige.
Note how Putin is trying to unite the Russian speaking peoples with in its borders. The questions everyone has are; will he stop there, and what happens to the non Russian people in the territory he is warring for. And yes, these are wars.

If Putin approves this release of information, it’s an outstanding double cross of Hillary, and I applaud Mr. Putin’s efforts to return Russian to some former glory.

2) Trump has history of dealing with a number of the Oligarchs, there may be something there it may be just business
3) Would love to see Putin release the emails, which would be the ultimate doughnut on Obama’s front lawn and help his likely favourite, Trump. Would put HRC out of business likely, she could be considered a depreciating asset.
4) There was significant talk in the Canadian election that certain info was going to be released. Libs wisely backed away as they may well have gotten burned by use of it given the Russian source. Point is todays Russia is more than willing to play a robust and interventionist role in Western elections.
