    Essentially what this Green Party report is saying to Africa is that the EU must not fund your means to develop. Rather, you are going to do things according to our organic, smallholder agricultural ideology; to protect biodiversity through farming practices that dramatically lower yields and leave farmers vulnerable to crop losses and reduced income; to reject seed technologies, fertilisers and pesticides and compensate with labour intensive family farms that will put pressure on the youngest members from getting a chance to get an education.

    Conundrum

    The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.
    Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America :
    1. America is capitalist and greedy – yet half of the population is subsidized.
    2. Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims.
    3. They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government.
    4. Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer.
    5. The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
    6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about – yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
    Think about it! And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century. Makes you wonder who is doing the math.

  9. I sent Walmart Canada an email advising that their store has dropped to the bottom of my list as the place to go if I can’t find something anywhere else. The truth is I will likely go without. Between the recent Visa decision and the $.05 charge for bags that is it.

  11. the fees that visa charges used to be called usury. I rarely use my visa. I pay the annual fee so I have it for emergencies. one of the major supermarkets in Ontario also has stopped accepting visa, no frills, I think. looks the market is making a decision.

    In any event if your numbers are accurate why would a Republican who wants to change things ever stand a chance of being elected?

  26. Why pay a fee for any card, especially if it is only for emergencies? My two cards are on autopay on the due date and have no fee. One is cash-back.
