I just posted a comment in Tips indicating that in Canada you can now be prosecuted for criticizing the trans agenda — not just discriminating against an individual, but, for example, objecting to the bathroom nonsense now going on. (As though trans people were incapable of discretely finding a bathroom to use before this new legislation!) Some leftists I believe truly think all the trans agenda is about “human rights” — it is not. The minorities are being used to undermine our traditional society. Before they are done, no one will have rights. All of those things that give us a sense of self — gender being one — are methodically being dismantled. It is dehumanizing.

Sadly I just had this conversation a couple of freinds over the weekend – telling them that this would be the next step in the progressive agenda- but no matter how much information I put before them there was no way they were going to acknowledge that what is plainly evident.
    I am coming to the realization that we don’t simply have a biased media but a large segment of our society that is fully indoctrinated.
    They would need to go through a full deprogramming like any cult member to get back to reality. It is that bad.

  9. I don’t think that they’re indoctrinated so much as they can’t be bothered to think about it.
    I noticed that while I taught at a post-secondary institution. It was infuriatingly difficult to get most of my students to reason their way through a problem, given certain information. Most simply wanted to be told what to do.
    Similarly, most people I know are simply satisfied with whatever bilge the government and the media are giving them, and don’t make any effort to consider if they’re being told is valid or makes any sense.
    Thinking, to them, is work and work is to be avoided at all costs.
    Many, sadly, have adopted a fatalistic attitude. They think that nothing can be done about it, so why bother? Just go with the flow and life will be good.

  11. I will continue to discriminate against anyone I choose for whatever reason I choose. An intelligent person refrains from making statements that relate to a person’s gender, race, religion, perceived sexuality, etc.
    People get themselves into trouble by saying too much. A good example was when a local restaurant owner was investigated by the ‘human rights police’ when a job applicant complained that they were told they were not hired to work in the kitchen because they were female. If the owner had only said “We will hire the applicant we feel will be most compatible with our existing staff”, then there would be no grounds for a ‘human rights violation’. Any form of hate propaganda directed at anyone is pointless.
    I can choose to not take a client or job for no more reason than ‘it doesn’t feel right to me’. I don’t have to associate with anyone I don’t want to, and the less specific reason I give, if any, is best.

  23. A lot of this is getting quite sinister. Apparently among young people deciding they are the other gender are many autistic children. Rather than counselling them, they are prodded into changing gender. People’s lives are being ruined, and the state is complicit.

  24. I live as a cabbage. Sometime I’m a roll and other times I’m sauerkraut. I often go to the grocery store and lie among other cabbages. I’ve asked the store manager to install a trans cabbage restroom so I can feel safe when I relieve my leaves. If he doesn’t comply I’m ready to take this the cabbage rights tribunal in Ottawa.     There are instances of people born with chromosomal anomalies, such as those who are XXY or XYY. In many of those cases, there are legitimate ambiguities, but those are handled on an individual basis. However, these occurrences are quite rare.

  40. That’s an interesting theory about Trudeau and Laporte. (Yes, “interesting” is a euphemism here.)
    I do find it hard to understand how Laporte could have been the only one with the damning knowledge, or even the only one that it was necessary to kill, though I suppose that’s not impossible. But more seriously, I’ve never heard of any credible grounds for believing that Pierre Trudeau was gay in the first place, let alone violent and pedophile. It’s not like he was a regular figure in Montreal gay circles, like Robert Bourassa. Trudeau simply had a reputation as gay because he was screamingly effeminate. Such flouncing pansies are routinely presumed gay, or certainly were in Trudeau’s time, but I’ve never encountered anything more than that simple prejudice behind all the extravagant talk of Trudeau’s gayness.
