In public, Hillary Clinton’s aides and allies have kept their anger checked, decrying the rowdy outbursts at Nevada’s state convention last weekend but saying they believe Sanders will ultimately do the right thing by helping to unite the Democratic Party.
Behind the scenes, however, they are seething that statements by the Vermont senator are just making matters worse by further alienating his supporters from Clinton, the front-runner for the party’s presidential nomination.
The continued combat on the left is also complicating Clinton’s efforts to fully turn her attention to presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, who is reveling in the Democratic feuding.
“This is the worst-case scenario and the one people feared the most,” said one Clinton ally and former Clinton aide.
Stoopy Drooly supporters were the ones causing issues at the Trump rallies, which Trump got blamed for. And it was Stoopy Drooly who called for revolution.. Why are we surprised?.

Democrat dogs that are regularly unleashed against Republicans turn on their own. When it happens to Republican “it’s their own doing, they should moderate their words” but when it happens to a Democrat, well then it becomes a national security issue!

I don’t think the Democratic party machine is fully behind Hillary yet. There are some strange things happening on the “H” bandwagon and there is still a fear that she may not be able to “pull it off” in the fall. Keeping the Bern as an “ass in the hole” is their most prudent move right now.
How about this for a scenario:
Kristol and company find a conservative who will run third party and he quickly pulls 5-10% in the polls. And that he can win az and ut – there’s a politican who’s name escapes me who could really win those states.
Bernie sanders – realizing that if he runs as an independent he could pick off 4 or five states and combined with the above independent blocks both HRC and DT from getting 270.
Thus the selection of the next president will be left to congress.
Is it possible that sanders is refusing to quit because he sees this as a possibility?
Bernie is hanging around in the faint hope Hillary will be indicted &/or withdraw from the race for other reasons. As time goes by his position is strengthened against establishment interlopers like Biden. Sanders already knows he has no chance with the super delegates.
Who among us a month ago would have thought the GOP was through their division onto healing and reunification? But it’s the Dems who are still in a nomination battle, having to spend their political capital on each other, rather than Trump and the GOP.
This could erupt into an internecine struggle should Hillary’s various political and legal peccadillos finally bust through the MSM wall of silence to voters’ consciousness. Obama and the media will never let her go of Hillary as long as they think she can win. What happens if/when they don’t anymore?
She’s a bit like a Dem version of Cruz, with added decades of corruption. Some support her, but it’s doubtful many actually like her politically or personally.
Was listening on radio to analysis of Bernie Sanders effect between smart poli sci type and a so-called journalist. When the prof explained how the Sanders group are trying to move the Dems (farther) left, all she could add was “my concern is this will help Trump.”
