What more can be added to Mr. Fernandez’s article? Willing idiocy is easier and far more injurious than any ideology because it helps to push an ideology.
His mistake, however, is one that most conservatives make. Putin is no champion of freedom or any value that made the West great. What organisation did he work for? How does he run his country now? If anything, he resembles the statists and cronies in this country but on a more brutal level. I don’t care how much he is unlike Obama or Trudeau. That doesn’t change the fact that he is an autocrat.
