  1. There is a reason why Kathleen paid her praetorians so well prior to the last election. Jackbooted thugs one and all.

  2. Well, we DO have our own Dear Leader………..
Btw, does anyone know if Justin defecates, or is he like Kim?

  3. I have been BANNED for LIFE from commenting on The Daily Mail site. Why ? Because I questioned why a post Women’s World Cup kiss that Abby Wambach gave her wife was more newsworthy than a hetero-kiss between one of her teammates and their husband. That was deemed HATE speech. HOMOPHOBIC and whatnot. The thought police are here, and they are now in full control of the conversation. Agree with them … or you will … disappear. I cannot WAIT until all the “deniers” are rounded up and sent to reeducation camps.

  4. So basically they are watching all of us. Right now.
And I can expect a phone call?
    Wow. Scary.

  5. Nah phone calls are reserved for public personalities, you piss the JBTs enough and they will kick in your door at 5AM, kill your dogs, terrorize your family and then (as the famous recording goes) “will take you to the police station and make your cocaine appear” (he is still on the force btw). In return for being above the law and paid beyond reason they are ready to do the political enforcing.

  6. Not surprising as the OPP (Ontario Political Police) are owned by the Librano Party… The OPP like Pierre’s Supreme Court are both corrupted political bodies who’s primary purpose is to impose and enforce the Liberals “correct” political doctrine. Remember, Liberals corrupt everything they touch (“the culture of corruption”). Anyone voicing disagreement with these political “interpretations” will be punished. I’m sure it’ll get much worse as the hideous Trudopian State becomes much more intolerant and ideologically desperate.

  7. the OPP has been a crooked force for years, crooked at the top, not the day to day line officers. the upper echelon have been playing politics so long they have forgotten what police work should look like. fyi OPP, it does not entail trying to crush freedom of speech no matter who doesn’t like what is being said.

“Scary stuff but is anyone worried in brain dead Ontario?”
Yes, all Ontario cancers usually fester and then migrate west. look at Alberta’s Somali and ISIS infections today. Yesterday it was simply Ontario generational welfare bums looking for greener pastures.

Oh you meant “IN” Ontario. Doubt it, but I’ve never spent time in that part of Europe to know. just Airport transits.

  10. there goes McSupid99 off at the gums again. Wait for a while Newfberta will get there, they are just a little slower, as usual.

  11. Well, Instapundit just sent the story to the world… đŸ™‚ Ontario Political Police. Maybe their “PR Dept” should take their own damn advice and “think before they tweet”…

  12. “Are you sure you don’t mean Middle East?”
Heh, semantics I suppose, was it the Toronto 18, or the Brussels, Paris disenfranchised youth enjoying the luxury of their European sanctuaries?
Six of one, half dozen of the other I suppose.

  13. Present day Canadians are just plain fools and are on a perfect glide path to Totalitarianism.
In fact, I’ve often wondered why dictators bother using armies and beatings to control their populations when Canada is a living, breathing example on how to control the population through sleight of hand and obfuscation. Too easy. Shame on wee we.
“As Philip K. Dick, the visionary who gave us Minority Report and Blade Runner, advised:
If, as it seems, we are in the process of becoming a totalitarian society in which the state apparatus is all-powerful, the ethics most important for the survival of the true, free, human individual would be: cheat, lie, evade, fake it, be elsewhere, forge documents, build improved electronic gadgets in your garage that’ll outwit the gadgets used by the authorities.
There is no gray area any longer.”

David Suzuki has suggested this for years and their is a strong suggestion in the US by, what, seventeen State DAs that Deniers at the corporate level should be prosecuted.
Yes, Kenji, we are there. It is just that the NKVD equivalent have not yet begun wholesale arrests.

  15. Quelle surprise.
Tom O’Grady was Commissioner of the OPP for ten years – 1988 to 1998. He was appointed during David Petersen’s Liberal Government and still headed up the Force when Bob Rae and the NDP came to power in 1990.
When Rae and his crew of fools were in power, O’Grady turned the Force into a thoroughly political entity – he became Rae’s cheerleader and incorporated every crackpot idea – including the regressive Employment Equity Act – into the Force’s hiring and promotional policies. The upper echelons were thoroughly stuffed with yes-persons who could recite the new script by rote. It was not by accident that his successor was the first woman to head up a major police force in Canada.
Several years ago I read the scathing condemnation of the officer corps in the Canadian Armed Forces by the Commission of Inquiry into the Somalia affair. It outlined how careerism (doing/saying whatever it took to get promoted) had been so endemic for so long in the officer ranks that it had become – to the exclusion of almost everything else – the raison d’etre. Service to the Country and its citizenry or the welfare of the troops just didn’t register. To a great extent those comments would fit like a template on the hierarchy of the OPP, and to the upper echelons of many (perhaps most) large Canadian police agencies.
By the time officers have been promoted to Inspector, they are already masters of the political process – they simply have to be, or they wouldn’t be there. The priority focus is appearance to the public(image)and currying favour, rather than service.
I cannot see it ever getting changed – a complete housecleaning would be required, and that would require the election of politicians with the will to really change things…and there’s not much chance of that happening, is there?

  16. It seems things have to get really Shiiity, before enough people want to have their hands washed. The rapidity of such a revival will be in direct proportion to how close the excrement comes to the Lauretien Elite cartel and/or instead of “Logan’s Run” ing he just stays and KuZo’s it all.

  17. /Riiiiing/
“It’s the overpaid armed government union leftards on the phone and they don’t like your tone”

  18. I wonder if the PR dept of the OPP understands that the phone call they made to Taylor could constitute a harassment via telecommunications under the Criminal Code…

  19. “not the day to day line officers”
Yes them too, thye are as bad as their boses. And not just OPP same goes for RCMP or municipal police forces in Ontario.

  20. While we’re busily condemning the Liberal government of Ontario and the OPP, we sure have to give credit to that CPC government of Stephen Harper and the way he clamped down on those Officers who ran the High River gun theft, don’t we?
I don’t think there’s a single member of the RCMP who was involved in that scene, who’s still with the RCMP. Yep, Our Steve fired the lot of them!Yep!

  21. Don: There’s lots of blame to go around.

    “Don’t blame me.I voted conservative.”
    I blame you!
I blame all of you. As far as I’m concerned there is not ONE adult in Canada.
Canadians are an embarrassment to all who came before.
What a bunch of cowards and keyboard warriors at best!
Blue team is better than red team.
    West is better than East.
My Tweedledum is better than your Tweedledee!
While we drown in debt. In regulation. In laws.
Turn into Sweden and Greece without ever leaving home.
Loss of free speech. Privacy. Freedom.
    For decades now.
    And you do nothing. Nothing.
Luckily, the kids you raised are too f’n dumb to realize your betrayal.
Know nothing, cowardly, team playing hypocrites.

  22. policing is a make work project.
they WANT lots of crime to happen so they can cherry pick the ones most likely to advance their careers.
cops are the most powerful organization in the country. they can arrest the very ones that gave them that power. they investigate themselves. feel free to ask yourself or better yet anyone ‘in the know’ if a cop in your jurisdiction, your community has EVER officially and publicly apologized for screwing up, let alone wilful maliciousness.
ever. even once. no? one more thing they have in ‘common’ with ‘common’ thugs. bullies never apologize, it spoils the fun. and they are all guilty of either engaging in abuses or join the vast hoards of ‘boys and girls in blue’ that TOLERATE it. cone of silence, brotherhood of the badge. by the time the scum bubbles up to the top management levels they are so inculcated with the ‘way it is’ there is NO chance whatsoever for reform from within.
why is it called a ‘police state’ and not a ‘fireman state’ or ‘teacher state’ or ‘investment banker state’ or ‘snow plow driver state’? because all thru history wherever it happens it’s the COPS with the truncheons, knocking doors down in the dark of night, breaching constitutions at will and hiding behind the authority and
credibility. all over the world, gestapo, kgb, Haiti’s ton ton macoute(sp) shah palavi’s savak, east germany, etc et friggin cetera.
watch them. watch them to guard your life and freedoms because whatever the circumstances, no matter how egregious and extreme the situation, cops WILL trample everything to suit their purposes. and no nation is immune. none. there is utterly nothing ever in existence that guarantees that with enough time, you will escape the horrors of a police state.
we need to be willing to put up with a certain, umm, ‘equilibrium’ of criminality and restraints on police powers because leaving it all up to the cops will result in something akin to a grisly unending nightmare. except of course for the elites; the ones paying the cops and kowtowing to their demands at the expense of the taxpayers.

  23. Other than trying to have conservative minded people nominated and then elected, as well as voting for your local conservative candidate.Furthermore, also trying to convince your acquaintances about the false claims and promises of the left. What would you suggest creating anarchy in the streets?

i have a friend who was an opp officer who decided to ask for a leave of absence so he could complete his university degree. he received a lot of support from his staff-sgt., but when the area commander heard about it, he made a special trip to the detachment to try dissuade my friend from his plan.
my friend was told that the opp did not need over-educated know-it-alls… they just required plods (my word) who could follow orders. he was told he would not be welcomed back. the staff-sgt said afterwards he was so ashamed of his superior’s position and that if he hadn’t 25 years on and a pension it would have made him quit.
my friend went on to become a teacher… retiring as a principal, but he still feels badly about not being able to return to his career as a police officer which he loved.

  25. This cant happen in Canada.
Egypt protest after tea vendor ‘killed by police’
Egypt has seen a series of allegations of police brutality in recent months, stoking public anger.
The interior ministry said that Tuesday’s incident in the eastern suburb of Rehab began with an argument over the price of a cup of tea between several policeman and a street vendor.
One policeman opened fire, killing the vendor and wounding two passersby, it added.
Photographs showed what appeared to be a man lying still on the floor, covered in blood, surrounded by angry onlookers.

  26. No,the blame rests with the person who has power for a short period of time and fails to use it! I don’t buy into the “blame the voters” bullshit.
We do the best we can to get our guy elected on the local level, this time it didn’t work.
When Harper was PM, he coasted the last two years acted more like liberal-lite than Conservative. Where WAS the hearing on High River? Why wasn’t Bill C-68 expunged,as it should have been?
And WHY were there NOT masses of Christian refugees brought over from the Middle East when we knew what was happening to them over there? Ask Stephen Harper.
To those who challenge us as “keyboard warriors”, what would YOU have us do, start a revolution? Chairman Mao,I am NOT, nor are you.
BUT,what we can do is hold the politicians we voted for accountable, not just cheer like hockey fans for Our Team. A dirty hit is still that,no matter if it was done by the Leafs,Canadiens,Liberals,Conservatives,or NDP team.
And failure to use the authority you have is just that, failure.
Canada today is like living on a street with three gangs,Crips,Bloods, and Black Panthers, all ready to kick your ass if you make too much noise.
