  1. Instapundit tagged it: metaphor alert which I found chuckle worthy.
    Related:
Muslims account for 5% of the pop. but 40-60% of the welfare.
One would think that this fact could be leveraged somehow.
They interrogated that Muslim monster mastermind one hour over four days.
He was tired after his surgery for his shot up leg.
This desultory interrogation may well have allowed the Brussels slaughter to proceed.

no bullets, huh? just like patrice vincent, nathan cirillo and
the soldiers at the toronto recruiting centre.
    it’s all of a piece, isn’t it?
“I swear… there are times when I almost believe that we
deserve whatever it is they’re dishing out.”

  3. I’ve probably asked this before but I will ask again: why is the Ruling Class doing this? Is it just for money; have they been paid off? Is it out of fear; do they not want planes flown into their offices and homes? Is it the delusion of white guilt; is it really just mental illness? Or is it some combination of all of these?

  4. It’s mental illness. I live with 2 liberals and experience the lunacy on a daily basis.

  5. This entire story is built on the “story” told by a dirty pig Joo ! So it MUST be ignored … according to our masters. Of course the guns were loaded (with blanks) … but they were loaded !

  6. “why is the Ruling Class doing this?”
They have their armed private security, their fortresses to live in, luxurious fallout shelters to fall back to.
They don’t need us anymore and they plan to reduce the earth’s population by over 90% because we are using up their planet.

  7. Nothing new, when deployed in Montreal in 1976, we weren’t given bullets either. Les Anglais.

  8. Everything is political these days, otherwise, why are the CO’s of the Military NOT raising hell about putting their men at risk with no way of defending themselves or anyone else?
I suppose it’s because in all Countries ,Canada included, they are looking out for their after-military careers, when they might get a nice political appointment if they’re good little boys.

  9. Hence the terror in Progressive circles of you evil religious folk who “cling” to your book and ammo.
Being better armed than their toy soldiers, you create a problem.
They like the soldiers disarmed, because these soldiers are observing the elites up close and personally, become knowledgable of the true chains of command.
Armed soldiers can turn on their masters.
However disarmed soldiers are a token of surrender when the public outguns them.
Small wonder the UN does not comprehend North America.
The Kleptocracies response to people who hate us so much, that they willingly blow themselves up, proclaiming the glory of their death cult, is the response of people who hate us almost as much, but do not wish to die themselves.
    Both are our enemy.
Now I am sure feathers will fly, but as history has repeatedly shown, when faced with a relentless, implacable enemy, our kind of society eventually responds.
The progressives and the Jihadists have the same end.
Within a decade, as attacks on civilians escalate, all known muslins will face the choice, deportation or death.
Simply because we cannot distinguish good muslin from Jihadi.
Once we truly feel under attack, we will not care, identify the enemy, make that enemy extinct, the winning formulae our ancestors gifted us.
The Faith built around the Desert Pedophile has a crisis of identity coming real soon.
As the public hostility grows, progressive enablers will become public enemy #2.
The current people we elect to public office are reflections of us,lazy, complacent folk, who have never faced shortages or savagery.
Those few citizens who have seen the beast,up close and personal, are dismissed as radical.
    Too Extreme.
As I wait for the political winds to change, I look to my own skills.
I am always amazed how simple the tools of destruction are.

  10. Despite all the continuing butchery by Muslims the governments like Belgium and Germany refuse, simply refuse to face it. People of great courage like Wilders, Hirsi Ali and Tarek Fatah have warned of this for years yet when anyone dares to fight back the response by the cowardly leaders is very prompt. They must be fascists, far right, islamophobiac or racists so out come hordes of police with the water cannons. Any women wearing a hijab is a supporter of sharia law and this one woman weeping is equal to the deaths in the Brussels airport or the 70 Christians killed in Pakistan. Give me a break!

  11. They don’t need bullets, because Civilian Gun Ownership in the EU is HIGHLY regulated!
In todays multicultural Euro-Utopia there is very little worry of racist old white people coming out of the woodworks to shoot cops – so therefore bullets for the military and police are an obsolete idea whose time has come.

  12. No ammo??? They MUST have been taking lessons from our gubermints and leftardretards. Personally,I have -0 remorse or sorrow for these suicidal idiots(both muzzies and leftard gubermints).

  13. aw cum on now you god kristian fokes, the pope says fight ISIS with weapons of love. Yup, lefties and gubmint idiots are just that, idiots. Butt so are kristians, who help nurture this idiotacy. It’s not all muslims refugees, it’s your government that refuses to place it’s own citizens FIST, as they are charges to!

  14. Are you on auto-correct or are you dictating your remarks to spurwing plover to post in your name?

  15. Just like climate change policy that doesn’t do a thing for climate change but costs billions. But it makes the politicians look like they’re doing something and (putatively) makes taxpayers feel good about paying higher taxes.
Also, just like Canada’s now gone Long Gun Registry that cost billions but did nothing.
    And, on and on …

  16. Unacceptable lapse in leadership. Personnel on guard duty must be armed. This is not an exercise. Cpl Cirillo was unarmed but he was at a memorial, while WO Vincent was only doing routine administration. Neither were in an operational mode. The Belgium situation is light years from that.
Natahan’s murder resulted in RCMP guards for protection of ceremonial personnel, while there’s little that can be done in Patrice’s murder, other than to arm all military personnel, which is impractical. The enemy will probe and attack soft spots, that’s why we must study and identify our vulnerabilities.
Please let’s all stop pretending these attacks stem from legitimate grievances, that litigating those will stop these apocalyptic self-appointed messianic organized criminals, their fellow travelers and useful idiots. We need to also understand they will escalate; their is no doubt total war is their goal.
The insistence that we’re NOT at war with ISIS illustrates the tin ears of our progressives. They refuse to accept that you are de facto at war with those who are at war with you. A declaration of war against ISIS, AQ, the Taliban, Boko Harum and the various other psycho religionists would go a long way to legitimizing military action. That is what is behind that refusal and the refusal to call militant Islamist jihad for what it is, a threat to the civilized world.
Why there isn’t unanimous agreement on that point underscores many real motives, whether it be cowardice by appeasement, political constituencies or tacit approval of Islamist brutality, with free societies as the culpable. Putting our head in the sand is precisely how to turn ISIS into an existential theat.
On the latter, an immediate launch into accusations of Islamophobia and airing of grievances provides irrefutable confirmation imho.

  17. Now that the EU has banned most civilian firearm ownership they should seriously think about regulating bombs!
Otherwise someone is likely to get hurt.
    Hashtag #we-need-civilian-bomb-regulation-today

  18. Not only Belgium and Germany, but you can include all the countries of western Europe, Canada, and the US.
It almost seems as if our multicultural leadership is deliberately giving us over to radical Islam.

  19. My first reaction was to burst out laughing. Happy Vigils! When it happens here, I’ll laugh too, no point in being glum and wondering why or who. A critical mass of stupidity has been achieved. It won’t go away any time soon. Scales on the eyes, wax plugs in the ears, sh*t for brains and all that. I expect this is what the Tribulation might look like. Heh!

  20. Bl@kbird >
“A critical mass of stupidity has been achieved”
heh – there it is in a nutshell. Well put.
The sad truth is that we will never “evolve” out of this, the only thing left for the west is devolution. The means of which will either be slowly and painfully, or quick & dirty. Either way we’ve spun-out on First World upward mobility.

“shamrock says… there’s little that can be done in Patrice’s murder, other than to arm all military personnel, which is impractical.”
    shammy… tell that to israel.
or perhaps a better example would be switzerland, with mandatory military service (including yearly refreshers) that also mandates every military-trained person between the age of 20 and 34 keep their service weapons in their homes. (there are about 420,000 assault rifles, fully automatic, or “selective fire”, stored at private homes.)
you can also opt to have your firearm converted to semi-auto after completing military service. there are 3.4 million civilian guns in switzerland, the the third-highest per capita ratio in the world.
all it takes is the political will. let’s ask justin what he thinks. oh wait… he won’t even give bullets to our soldiers.

  22. Right you are:
“Israeli Army Orders Soldiers to Carry Arms when Off-Duty.”
Soldiers and police carrying assault rifles and pistols are a very common sight at transport terminals, at cafés and on high streets in Israel. Most of the time this personnel is in uniform; some combat soldiers can be seen traveling to or from home in civilian clothing with a weapon – a sight that often alarms visitors to the country. Until now standing orders have been that a soldier leaving his or her base for longer than three days must leave their service weapon in the armory. Eizenkot’s orders reverse this longstanding policy. “Combat soldiers on leave will go home with their guns,” a spokesperson for the army confirmed to The Media Line.”
    http://www.themedialine.org/news/israeli-army-orders-soldiers-to-carry-arms-when-off-duty/
Notice this is a recent policy change this year. By impractical I meant three things: I’m not sure there are enough weapons to go around; second, part of the first, there is zero will amongst our intellectual and moral betters execute such a policy by purchasing more small arms, let alone even acknowledging a threat exists; and finally, while the deterrence would be useful, the policy would be much less effective against car killers and bombers than shooters.
Anyway, look how long it took Israel to change their leave policy, despite having lived with an existential threat for nearly 60 years since nationhood. We haven’t the slightest understanding of what a real threat is like. It will take major attacks to shake the surrender monkeys from their trees.
Our progressive sycophants would have none of it. Your last sentence says it all on that. BTW, Canada doesn’t have military universal service as in Switzerland and Israel. Most of our city slickers and lumbersexuals would have a good cry if anyone dared to intrude their presence while yikes, armed.

  23. “why is the Ruling Class doing this?”
Because everyone lets them get away with it. Blogging does not constitute meaningful action.

  24. Back in the 60’s a buddy of mine sailed on the Bonaventure Canada’s only aircraft carrier. They tied up in Norway one nite and buddy was on guard at the bottom of the ramp. He was supplied a WW11 Lee Enfield 303. Mighta been WW1 vintage? No bullets were issued.

  25. No bullets is appropriate. Politicians who deploy troops without bullets don’t have brains in their skulls.

  26. “Blogging does not constitute meaningful action.”
In a time of universal deceit – telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
    ~George Orwell

  27. Well SMLE makes a very nice heavy club, stick a bayonet on top of it and you have a much scarier weapon than anything modern without ammo.

  28. “Because everyone lets them get away with it. ”
And because your beloved JBTs are always ready to terrorize those who don’t and because your ilk will always rush to the JBTs defense blaming everyone but them.
“Blogging does not constitute meaningful action.”
Indeed not much meaning on your blog.

  29. The cowardly jihadist who killed Cpl Cirillo at the War Memorial counted on exactly this level of armed opposition to aid his murderous rampage. After shooting Cirillo at point blank range, he proceeded to the Parliament for a relaxed finale of shooting unarmed fish in a barrel. What he didn’t count on was Kevin Vickers having a 9 mm and being prepared to empty several rounds into him.
This was the unexpected Canadian reaction one which probably saved many lives. But, how lucky will we be to have a man like Vickers on the job next time? Probably moves have been underfoot to quietly remove pistols from the Sgt at Arms, quite a few must be uncomfortable that someone would act so courageously.

  30. “…switzerland, … mandates every military-trained person between the age of 20 and 34 keep their service weapons in their homes …”
Yes, they keep those rifle locked up at home when they aren’t out on training or other active duty. In Switzerland, W.O. Vincent’s counterpart would not have been armed while getting run over by a self-appointed jihadi in a shopping centre car park.

  31. “Back in the 60’s a buddy of mine sailed on the Bonaventure Canada’s only aircraft carrier. They tied up in Norway one nite and buddy was on guard at the bottom of the ramp. He was supplied a WW11 Lee Enfield 303. Mighta been WW1 vintage? No bullets were issued.” Abtrapper
I also served on the Bonnie, bullets or not nobody boarded that ship without permission… or they would be clubbed and dropped in the bay….The infamous “Torchy Smith” reigned supreme on the Bonaventure.. Officer of the day was always armed!

  32. With a little perception, and setting aside spellings, it is obvious that Spurwing Plover is far more lucid than the often unhinged NME666.

  33. Yeah but he left everyone baffled at what to do because he failed to identify the love targets to launch our lube tubes at.

  34. Might as well sent them in unarmed Darn stupid liberals and their stupid liberal ideas I guess if you used jumper cables on their ears it might jump start their brains which they don’t ever use in the first place
