“All statements from Justin Trudeau come with an expiration date. All of them.”*
40 Replies to “Oh, Shiny Prime Minister!”
It’s getting to the point, that Justin is proven to be such an effing liar that he’ll have to hire someone else to call his dog… At taxpayers expense naturally.
Well, either the celebrity PM has found time to listen to security experts or he’s just your regular lying Liberal who promise what they think will get them elected then break those promises. This is lying for political gain, it’s very popular among Ontario voters, they’ve elected lying Liberals to majority government repeatedly.
Well we know what we are gettin’ for Christmas, a lying lisper and as many plane loads of future Lieberal voters as our armed forces can dump on us, oh happy day. NOT!
Yepper
I doubt that Trulander opens his mouth w/o Gerry Butts handing him his talking points. Someone whispered in someone’s ear that pulling out wasn’t “manly”. Hence the change in Plan.

wasn’t this justin’s first (elected) political gaffe… publicly crowing about telling hussein obama he was gonna take his bat, ball and jets and go home?
and now he has to eat that too.
pierre lite is the gift that keeps on giving.

It is quite obvious that the promise to withdraw fighter jets from Iraq and Syria was bullsh*t right from the start. This was a lie that didn’t have to be told. Trudeau was getting the left-wing, pacifist vote anyway and now he just looks like a typical lying Liberal …. which he is. Will the media call him on this? I’m betting a great big NOT.
In other words … Just-in Truedope just found out that he shouldn’t have opened his pie hole and declared peace before the war was won.
The twitship on display in Ottawa right now is only beginning. Before it’s over, we will be in a global trash bin.
Just like his father
Absolutely true, although I think you should drill down a bit on what you mean by “This is lying for political gain.” May I suggest something like: “We will lie to get into office, so that we can steal your money”?
In my politically conscience lifetime, the Liberals previously won majority governments by campaigning against the Conservatives on the following issues, and once in office, then did exactly as the Tories had proposed:
– Price and wage controls (1974),
– World oil prices (1980),
– The GST, NAFTA, and health care (1993).
Everybody has heard this broken record before, and you are quite right to point out that everybody in Ontario has seen this sorry schtick from the Buttsists (or Buttcysts, according to taste; up to and including “electoral reform”) before. So, despite knowing the pathology, large numbers of electors willfully suspend their grasp on reality and vote for them. Truly something to behold.
this is much like the vanishing ‘red book’ policy statement that showed up prior to the cretien win and vanished afterward. I asked the lieberal on the other end of the phone if I could maybe have just a photocopy.
nyet.
anything?
nyet.
well, how do you know you’re keeping your promises if you have no record of them?
lie lie lie lie lie lie lie lie lie lie lie lie lie lieberals.
Has anyone considered that Turdeau may be angling for a Nobel Peace Prize just like his hero, Big O!!
Why not? Makes perfect sense to me.
As someone once said, “Every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie including “and” and “the”.
Once all you right wingers see Trulander’s Vogue cover where, for the first time he shows us “Red Steal” than you will know what a real leader should look like, he so hot… or not!
When asked about this, the PM responded: “well I don’t have my timetable with me, you’ll have to use your own timetable to figure that out.” He then went off to find out what a timetable was.
A Liberal lying to get elected is nothing new. That is just normal operating procedure for them. What is amazing is the fools that keep believing their lies, over and over again. The answer of course is that the MSM covers the Liberals and aids and abets the lies.
I think he realized that his seat at the Children’s table could be upgraded to useful Obama piss-ant status only if he followed OTHERS…
How is he going to get Trump’s autograph without a slobbering confession?
What else does amaze me is that someone of the caliber of Harjit Saijan would team up with the likes of the Liberals.
You make a very good point, as does biffjr after you.
I mean, REALLY!?! Who sends one’s Minister of National Defence out on a Thursday evening, after one has disappeared for a month and a half adjournment of Parliament, to announce this “change” of policy on an unlistened-to radio programme on SiriusXM involving such a compliant interviewer as Evan Solomon?
Mr. Trudeau, Jr., apparently: same old, same old. Same old Alan J. MacEachen tricks, same old “Fifty Shades of Grey” (Herb Gray, that is).
That was, without question, deliberate and pre-meditated. Which means, of course, that Mr. Trudeau, Jr. lied in at least three contexts, on just this one issue:
– on the campaign trail,
– in the day or so after the election, which you point out,
and
– earlier this week in the Commons.
(In my previous post I wrote “conscience”, whereas I meant “conscious”.)
Justin is just like his dad whose motto was tell them what they want to hear then when elected do what you want.
And if Harper had done such a major flip-flop?
Politicians always set themselves up for these sorts of pratfalls.
It’s not so much the flip-floppery itself; realities can and do force governments into awkward positions where policies suddenly have to be reviewed, modified or simply abandoned.
No, it’s the inevitable hubris that always proceeds the flip-floppery.
Perhaps the best and biggest example of this is all the moral preening at the Paris climate-change love-in right now.
Oops! Mea culpa!
Make that “precedes” not “proceeds”!
What was Stalin’s comment when he was taken to task for not permitting free and open elections in Poland?
“I have not broken my word, I have merely changed my mind”.
Obama likely put some pressure on him. When progressives are in charge of both countries, a Liberal PM can be a lap dog to the US President and the Canadian media court eunuchs are like the three monkeys (hear no evil, see…..). Besides, he’s the Spawn and used to being told how to think and act.

so Just-In whipped it out and discovered he only had Cessna 150
Canada has averaged just over 1 bomb per day with 6 jets – what did they say 500 bombs. Until the Russians started selecting real targets and the Americans joined in, this was all show and no blow. The were so paranoid about killing the odd civilian that they killed almost no-one. The Russians aren’t so inhibited. After you start blowing up oil industry assets, the civilians can measure the risks themselves. If they want to work with the butchers, they can become cannon fodder.
True to form here, when an announcement is to be made, Jr is front and centre, when he has to be extracted from a foolish utterance, ministers and flunkies pick up the slack.
Didn’t he crow about giving Sajjan his marching orders re the jets a few weeks ago? Seems someone (Canada’a allies) had a word to say about this,
Obomber probably responded with “Great. I wish I could do that”.
YOu can all thank me for this. From the second the new minister announced this, I derided him as a liberal coward, better still, the press asked him if he was. I suggested strongly that the last time Canada did not control the skies over our troops, 4 died in friendly fire. So it with some interest I note that the minister who was an officer of the line, perhaps a man who had killed criminal terrorists with his own hands, had forsaken his honour just to please a dance hall instructor whose father’s inclination was to destroy the Armed Forces of Canada. When we have men in the field, we have to cover the skies. All Canadian pilots want this to be. When a major and his companies are hunkering down with haji dropping crap on them, then need to know that our F-18’s are going to crush all those who oppose them. War sucks, but remember, Chretien cancelled helicopters to get elected, on sept 12, 2001, we needed those helicopters, and now our valiant Canadian Army, need the Royal Canadian Air Force to have their backs in the skies. Or are we going to leave our Army exposed as Chretien did, not so many years ago?
Thanks for that great comment.
Does anyone know which XM station that was? I did not know CBC was on XM.
ya, well, war is war.
hang around and support aggressor ‘x’ and could be, circumstances give you oh, 1/2 a second of regret whilst the bomb fragments do a 50 yard dash with the shock wave.
time and time again, locals prop up the violent ones and wind up eyeball deep in consequences. history really really is a remarkable teacher, very accurate and will go thru the entire course even if there is only 1 individual enrolled.
kill them. kill them all. smash everything they have, kill those financing them, burn and pulverize their means of production. never let up. create a tsunami, a biblical flood of ordnance in every corner. no refuge, no letup. create yet another lesson for history to include in its curricula.
then go back home to your farms, offices, shops, factories and carry on with a crystal clear conscience.
Say, Ken:
I looked it up, actually, before I posted, and it appeared to be 167.
Zoolander is just channeling his inner Obama in that all his promises will have a very short “best before” date.
Also, the media which made him PM will embargo(fail) to report his back tracking on his election promises, just like they did with Obama.
Thanks. I will check it out tomorrow.
I know it ain’t funny but I do enjoy watching McCallum perform as if he knows what he’s doing with the influx of refugees. The first batch is the easy phase, there will be a few baggy eyed late nights for their big brains in Butt central.
Can’t be happening,another failed promise
Where is cbcpravda on this
I don’t think Leisuresuit Larry actually lied about this as the more plausible theory is that he doesn’t have a clue about military, diplomacy, international trade, finance, middle class economics, parenting, industry, farming, resource extraction, climatology, interprovincial relations, transportation, and health care.
But acting, he knows enough to teach drama part time.
Everything else, he’s guessing and there isn’t anyone around him willing to stand up to Butts to get through to him.
So he remains clueless.
But don’t forget that Harper had his “secret agenda.”
I predict what will happen is that Shiny pony will cancel the new fighter project at a cost of billions in broken contracts and use the existing force until it is dangerous to fly just like jean crouton and the Sea Kings.
Should have a common sense requirement in order to vote.
