  1. I see, Global News now takes the sober, concerned but not panicked tone now.
Must be a relief after their pipeline hysteria.
Of course, not much can go wrong shipping millions of tons of crude oil by rail, not much.
Should I go to America News sites and hypothesize that this was a deliberate attack on America by Canadians angered by their Keystone pipeline stance, or will one of theirs do that anyway?

  2. The article says it is ethanol which is not crude oil but is a form of alcohol if not alcohol itself.

  4. Obama lying like he always dose claiming this Climate Change poppycock He dont want to disappoint OPEC and the Eco-Freak groups that support him and his crinimal party

  5. Oil companies should just have a moratorium on all oil production in Canada for the next year. That would put a stick in the bum of Trudeau, the NDP and Obama.

  6. Obama and the of the crooks dont have to worry about fuel prices becuase its the tax payers who who pay for all their trips

  7. Ah, I just glanced at the article as I really can’t stand reading something that isn’t from Breitbart or Fox.

  8. For the sake of environmental correctness Americans are prepared to ship over 1 million boe per day on rail. It becomes pretty obvious that the real point here are economic and the serious goal of limiting Canadian growth and wealth.
Obama can take comfort in knowing that the Canadian PM is now a lightweight. I assume that if Harper had been re-elected he would have forced a crude outlet on the BC coast on news that Keystone was rejected. This rejection challenges NAFTA and suggests a divergence of national goals.
The naivety of most Canadians on what actually generates enough wealth to make Canada function never ceases to amaze me. Keystone rejection is a threat to Canada’s economy. The incompetence of decision making on west coast LNG has also likely caused Canada to miss the boat as other world producers will get to market quicker. Hardly is the Keystone announcement made and calls from eastern Canada start about a ‘carbon tax’. Westerners with any wherewithal will realize this is code for wealth transfer to the East.
Canadians will never know how much foreign money came into the last federal election. The Americans, Russians and OPEC had significant reasons to want Harper gone. They were successful in spades.
