Link not working for me…
So cruising the net I found a reference to Cruz saying “That is why we don’t trust the media”…and apparently he got a 98% points-up from the audience….the highest ever in a presidential debate.
Gotta love Cruz..CNN is reporting on it as I type.. I will see if they show Cruz..
Cruz Missile is right! but where the hell will it take us?
The live audience is eating it up, the moderators- well, water off a duck’s back!
The general public paying no attention, and they won’t. You think this will get widespread MSM coverage. Think again.
So the LIV voters will go merrily along doting on the slimy Demoncrats, filling their coffers and continue spewing their venom against the conservative right.
But I’m quite enjoying something not usually seen, except maybe on FoxNews.
Beautiful!!!
About time.
I’m dreaming about Prime Minister Stephen Harper responding in the same manner.
Hmmmm…..
Apparently Cruz has perfect auditory memory and incredibly intelligent to boot!
Another very good point was brought up by Rubio.
He simply said that main stream media are a democratic superpac.
Heh, not unlike the Canadian media cartel against Harper.
Trump/Cruz 2016!!!
Believe it or not, a good portion of those watching debates and interviews with Republican and Democrat candidates have convinced themselves that there’s little to no difference in how the media acts towards each group. OF COURSE the media is completely biased against the GOP but these aforementioned portion of the electorate have been so deeply brainwashed for years that their brains are now impervious to simple facts of observation.
May the bitch slapping continue.
I’m sick of lawyer politicians, but Ted Cruz is stellar. Alan Dershowitz (democrat), was his prof. and called him “off the charts brilliant”.
Cruz is right:
– Republicans have the Koch brothers.
– Democrats have CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS, NPR, Hollywood, universities, unions….
Trump and Carson will fade. Cruz has just begun to fight.
Even better – Cruz/Trump 2016!!!!
For those who are interested George will has an excellent rundown on why Cruz is a definite possibility to win the gop.
Even the gop establishment typified by the milquetoast Jeb says they hate Cruz. That he is a lone wolf.
What Is actually the case is that they fear him. That he is in complete sync with the gop grassroots and that he and they could throw them out of their ivory towers.
I don’t know if he can win the nom or the presidency. But I do know that he would be the best of the bunch as potus.
Beautiful is right! “Democrat debate between the Bolsheviks and Mensheviks”. Wow, did he ever nail it. Good for Cruz!
Frank Q., we could dream.
Does anyone else find Brietbart’s website to be increasingly unstable and difficult to navigate? It’s totally unusable on my Ipad using Chrome, and my work computer is almost as bad. Even on Firefox here at home, any page with multiple videos is literally impossible to use.
You need Ad block(a free programme) Bill, When I just went to Breitbart it showed it stopping nine background programs from running, that’s the crap causing your problems.
“Does your opposition to it show that you’re not the kind of problem solver American voters want?”
What an offensively worded question. Implying that because he opposes it he mustn’t be qualified to solve America’s problems.
No wonder Cruz went off on them.
Good on you Ted!!
Bill, I find that Breitbart keeps dropping or not functioning and I have state of the art equipment and the fastest speed I can buy. I am a regular reader of Breitbart.
Ted Cruz is very intelligent, has a keen understanding of the issues, and would probably make an excellent President. Unfortunately, he lacks that special something called “charisma”. Charisma is what elected John F. Kennedy and Justin Trudeau. Too bad for Ted and the country. I did send him a small contribution but without a lot of conviction that he could win the Republican nomination much less the Presidency.
Only time I ever got a virus that wiped out my computer, it came from Brietbart’s ad/video tsunami. Won’t go there ever again…
A number of sites I visit regularly are becoming increasingly noxious due to all the video adverts and scripts they run.
Think maybe Cruz has stolen a page from Trump….
It would be great if our Prime Minister Harper could give a similar parting shot aimed at what passes for Canadian journalism across the board.
Cruz is leaving Rubio behind. I originally thought Rubio was the one. The points about
Rubio’s personal finance was a stake in his heart.
Never mind the polls. Check out the betting lines on the candidates to see where the big money is going. Far more meaningful data than a CBS poll that asks questions in a way to solicit answers they want. Currently, the line on GOP candidates are: Rubio 2/1; Cruz and Trump 3/1. Everyone else is losing ground. By the way, Carson is 9/1.
I turn on Active X filtering to kill the Flash crap on the site. It helps somewhat, AD Blocker working in combination much better. Still some really screwy programing on Breitbart’s pages however.
I lean to Cruz over Rubio, but just for the record the “moderator” was recycling a discredited New York Times hit piece on Rubio, e.g. http://freebeacon.com/politics/financial-expert-quoted-in-nyt-rubio-hit-job-is-obama-donor/ They made a big deal out of his “yacht” that turned out to be a fishing boat, not that surprising a purchase in Florida.
If you take a step you’ll realize it’s one more example of rich “we’re-for-the-little-guy liberals sneering at a man of modest circumstances from a working-class family.
2010 study showed that 85% of (j)urnolists identifies as DemoKKKrap supporters
Ted Cruz makes me proud to be a Canadian … he was born in Calgary.
I’d love to see him as the leader of our own Conservative party … imagine the terrible things he’d say about Rosemary Barton’s show on the CBC.
Rubio smart, strong on issues, has charisma. Will be top dog soon.
Cruz smart, quick on his feet but lacks charisma.
Christie would be great POTUS but Obama bear-hug sank his boat.
Trump’s shtick is getting worn out. Thank goodness.
Carson nice guy, smart, weak on issues and boring.
Carly smart, good on issues but too serious. Lighten it up girl.
All the others are also-rans and should drop out.
Despite the polls I see Rubio as most likely nominee.
Only if one of the candidates had left his podium, crossed over to the table, ripped Harwood’s lungs out and then skull****** his dying corpse could this debate have turned out better for the GOP hopefuls.
Harper should have taken a shot all right, but not a parting one.
What happened to the Harper who gobsmacked the mediocracy and progressivia with his lead on the issues, his deconstruction of their policies and promises and especially his expose of the mediocracy as the biased, unprofessional and unethical oafs they are.
When he did that in the past he put them all on the defensive and forced them to play at least a bit nice. This time he seemed too tired out or starting believing the HDS crap himself. All he had to do was ask what many us ask of HDSers, name two or three reasons for your viewpoint, then wait for the deluded, rambling and incoherent “answers.”
The fact he didn’t go after the mediocracy hit job doesn’t change that I refuse to read or watch their garbage anymore.
I thought the GOP debate was quite informative and entertaining. I loved Fiorina’s point about bigger government making business go big, causing crony capitalism, and squeezing out small business entrepreneurs, the ones who do most of the work, pay most of the taxes and create all the new jobs (not BS government job “creation”).
Given that apparently charisma seems to be an important attribute for POTUS, I find Rubio too intense and somewhat mercurial on immigration. I suspect that if he is the nominee, the evil Mrs Clinton will win. Trump has charisma but is an egotistical loudmouth loose-cannon populist. I would much prefer Rand Paul but he looks dead in the water. Given that our “best” PM in decades has no charisma (Harper), I would downplay that facet and go with Cruz, Carson, or Fiorina.
How about Rubio/Cruz?
Both young, both smart, one mainstream, one a bit hard core.
A neurosurgeon with ZERO political experience? Recipe for disaster. Clinton will make him look like a fool, and I don’t believe that a nonpolitician can take POTUS as an entry level position.
I still think Harper owes it to himself and more importantly, Conservatives to give a really good speech and tar the media well as he departs, he can do it, they sorely deserve it. Conservatives are partly to blame for their defeat, they did not run a good campaign as they rolled into the final weeks. The unionistas and the pollsters were media darlings as well, all part of the gang-up.
Liberals tell lies with abandon when the truth doesn’t fit with their agenda and it works. It works well in Ontario where they repeatedly returned liars to majority government.
Chris Alexander knows all about their low grade politics, calling him a “baby killer”, blaming the Conservatives for the death of the kid on the beach, another example of how low they can go. I hope the people of Ajax Pickering enjoy having Mark Holland back as their MP, they deserve him. Chris Alexander is a cut above, apparently they couldn’t see that far up.
Rubio is the rotten Republican establishment’s Plan B in case Bush falls.
Don’t fall for their con.
Cruz should have stopped right after he gave examples of the stupid questions asked of other Republican candidates and gone on to say: want to hear a substantive answer to your “question”? (with air quotes gesture)
Pres. Cruz + VP Fiorina in 2016.
in case Bush falls, he’s all but tanked already, try keeping up wood ja
He’s got my vote.
Had it already, actually. When he went off my heart sank a bit because everybody knows about liberal bias, it’s on full display, but over the night and the next day I see this gets the greatest attention.
As for Breitbart and other ridiculously overloaded sites, to read them on computer is best with JAVA turned off entirely. I’m annoyed with the things that jut out as I’m reading. I hate that. Like being poked. On top of everything else. Just shut it all off. Then for comments turn JAVA back on. That and adblock work for me.
Just got the 4g phone so I don’t know about that. Maybe the same thing in settings.

Frank Q….Chris Alexander gave a good response slamming media coverage of immigration facts.(last night Reader’s tips)
