Even Elizabeth May herself calls it a credibility “catastrophe”: The leader of the Green Party — who lectures everyone else about their carbon footprint — admits that she can’t ride a bike!
This is just hypocritical and bizarre.
The Quebec media thinks so too; they’re made a big deal out of her admission.
But the Media Party in the rest of Canada hasn’t picked up on it. Why?

“Also in mid July Central European regions saw frost!
Winter never left Scotland, sees snow yet again this summer!
In some parts of Europe this summer it is turning out to be one that never saw winter leave. The dailymail.co.uk reported here just days ago that Scotland was forecast to get snow on the ground this week – on top of the snow from last winter that never left. This means 2015 will be the year where winter never really left!”

  4. “He was sittin’ there twirlin’ his gun around
When butterfingers Irving gunned himself down.”
Simply some of the best lyrics ever written.

  5. “Somewhere, David Suzuki weeps.”
Great find. Must be eye opening to realize that all you really are is a useful idiot that has no value because there are always other useful idiots to take your place just for the privilege of saving the planet, in your own mind, and being taken for a loon by normal people. Turning that into a well paying career is reserved for the very few that manipulate and strongarm brainwashed weak kneed politicians and corporate CEO’s.

  6. Here in America, we had a great radio show with a host named Barry Hansen, AKA Dr. Demento.
His record collection measured in the hundreds of thousands of comedy tunes and parodies.
There had to be at least several dozen comedy versions of popular ballads. The Ballad Of
Irving was one of the greats, as was the ballad of Big Bruce:

This time the explosion was in Lishui,”.

  9. Yes Cal2, it was syndicated nationally as a weekly 2 hour show. It was either picked
up in some Canadian markets, or you were near enough to a powerhouse American station
to pick it up. I go back to the beginning with the 4 hour Sunday show on KMET, the
greatest progressive rock station in America for about 10 years running. I think I
first tuned in sometime back in 1972 or 1973. After listening to my first show,
I became a huge fan. I was one of the few teenagers who knew who the hell Stan
Freberg, Alan Sherman, Spike Jones, the Marx Brothers were. (My mother was a big
    fan of that genre)
By the early 1980’s, ever lowering standards of music took their toll. KMET Los Angeles
(A little bit of heaven 94.7,) eventually became an automated “New Wave” station, airing
jazzed up elevator music and the same fate awaited the good Dr. Demento. Weird Al’s
parodies worked with the classics, even up to the 80’s with I lost on Jeopardy and My
Bologna, but selling fans on neuvo heavy metal, crappy pop and crap music finally
killed a 20+ year run of what once was the greatest comedy radio show in history!
    I really miss that show.
PS Weird Al NAILED the heavy metal droning crap with It Smells Like Nirvana. The best
sound ever produced by Kurt Cobain was that of the shotgun blast that took off the
top of his head. If you want to see the depths that modern has produced, listen to
the music his skank produced. It is hard to believe that the soft puppy love songs by
the Beatles were controversial. I had already tuned out long before Soundgarden did
music videos with symbolic fellatio by a 5 year old girl.
    But I still have this:
