Forward!

“Are you, or have you ever been a member of a conservative organization?”

At another point, however, a different Customs and Border Protection officer tells O’Keefe that agency officials had put a “hit on you” to avoid getting “egg on their face, basically.”
The video does show, however, officers asking O’Keefe a series of detailed questions about his business model, how his company makes money and his political views.
“What’s your next project?” one officer asks.
“I was so flabbergasted by the question, I couldn’t even form a coherent response,” O’Keefe says in the video.
An officer then asks O’Keefe who he wants to win the Republican nomination for president and if he would support businessman Donald Trump, who has fueled his political rise with outspoken comments about illegal immigrants.

  1. Treating conservatives as if theywere nazis just typical of these liberal leftists scoundrels and low life reptiles I mean they(Liberals)would need a ladder to be able to reach up and tickle a snakes belly

  2. Welcome to the Border Crossing no rights zone.
Works in the Canadian direction too.
If they decide to make your life difficult, boy howdy, can they.

  3. Four or five years ago I was crossing into the US with a buddy of mine heading to an outdoors show in Harrisburg, PA. After the usual questions about purpose of trip, length of stay, load, etc., the conversation went as follows:
    Officer: Any foodstuffs to declare?
Me: Just these chocolate bars and coffees.
    Officer: Any citrus fruits?
    Me: Nope.
Officer: Is that an orange beside you on the console?
Me: It’s just an orange peel, I ate it on the way here.
Officer: Ditch it right here…that’s citrus fruit.
Me: Okay, (smiling)but it’s got a Florida sticker on it.
Officer: (with just a hint of a smile)Ditch it… I didn’t say it had to make sense.
Thanks for making the world a safer place.

  4. Always remember no matter what the CBSA cannot deny entry into Canada for a Canadian citizen. They can make your life difficult and detain you but you cannot be denied entry. Also keep in mind it’s illegal to not tell the truth to the CBSA OR RCMP at the border. In other words you MUST answer their questions TRUTHFULLY. This is because Turdeau’s precious charter is a bunch of popycock. US citizens can refuse to answer any question at their border checkpoints.

  5. I say, keep a low profile, take names and prepare for the backlash. This leftist administrative fascism is nearly at a head then the pendulum will swing our way again and normal people will mop up the scum left by the last wave of leftist tyranny.

  6. Used to live in Osoyoos, BC.
Been across the border hundreds of times, (lived a mile north of the border).
Learned that to go across the border you shut up and only answer questions.
Don’t volunteer any information, don’t small talk, don’t be master of the universe.
Just answer the questions without preamble or commentary, you will get across like a breeze.
Found Americans much more cordial than locals.
Since most of the officers knew us, when picked by an American computer for inspection, they would even apologize, said they had to do it.
On the other hand, coming back, a young whippersnapper that wanted to impress the bosses sent us for inspection.
An old hand, so to say, that was to do the inspection just shook his head and told us to be on our way.

  7. So the dude sneaks across the border in an Bin Laden costume and now he’s wondering why border officers are pestering him? They basically just told him… “to avoid getting “egg on their face”.
    End of story.

  8. So the dude sneaks across the border in an Bin Laden costume and now he’s wondering why border officers are pestering him? They basically just told him… “to avoid getting “egg on their face”. It’s pretty clear this is a “fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me” situation, and has nothing to do with his foul brand of rightwing politics.

  9. John you have it right. I didn’t hear a snotty tone or oppressive behaviour coming from customs officers. If they have any pride or sense of responsibility in their work they certainly don’t want to get caught by some sophomoric sting. Don’t allow the fight against fascism imitate the shrill hyperbole that we see coming from the enemy!
