A fairly good article which, while trying to cut the NDP some slack (it's "somewhat inaccurate" to say those working beside party operatives are "campaign" workers), they break it down quite well, including a list of the miscreants.

Will we see Mulcair the PM in waiting, or Angry Tom on this one. He better get used to it, both parties are going to pound him mercilessly on this. The thing is, they never seem to see it coming, how the public will turn against them on pipelines, on the economy (couldn't get past the paywall of G&M article apparently opining Canadians "trust" them more), on business destructive practices and tax hikes for everyone. Maybe they'll surprise us with a snappy retort on satellitegate, besides the mother of all weasel comments "it's before the courts." That will surely be followed with "are you saying you didn't break the rules?" We will see, it should be enjoyable political theatre.

I also ADORE Young's music (and Skynard's) ... but find his politics amusingly naive. Typical 60's counterculturist reflexively hating the status quo. Even Bob Dylan GREW out of that kind of mindset. Young's rock+roll voice is every bit as legit as Tom Petty, Dylan et.al. Young is also a prolific writer of hit songs with depth, feeling, and meaning that most humans can connect with. And I have to admit my utter RESPECT for him having NEVER SOLD or allowed his music to EVER be used in commercials. Not that he needs the money, but he has quite literally never sold-out. He has kept his art pure.

PS ... If any man wrote the lyric of this song today ... the feminazis would crush his nuts in a vice. How deliciously ironic
