The Montreal Alouettes organization would like to clarify the situation surrounding international defensive end Michael Sam, (first gay player drafted in the NFL.) Friday morning, Michael asked the team for special permission to leave training camp and return home for personal reasons.

Who Cares?
Getting cut from a CFL football team is probably more of a blessing than anything. Imagine wasting 8 youthful years making crap money and having to live in Winnipeg or some other crap Canadian city, then falling out of your prime only to return to the US with no marketable skills or cash.
