  1. Just checked out Ezra’s Rebel site. Anybody know why he’s advertising girl on girl porn sites over there?

  2. Drudge – what can you say.
[“Drudge has a profound effect on America’s premier news outlets: it’s the top source for referral traffic to industry powerhouses like Fox News, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, the Associated Press, and Reuters among others. That alone is extraordinary,” said the report.
A blog post from Intermarkets about their client, added, “Conclusion: Drudge is a rare, unique premium publisher driving hundreds of millions of external visits each month.”
What’s more, virtually all of his traffic comes directly to his Drudge Report: his site receives two million unique daily visits and 700 million monthly visits.]

  3. Great news from Baltimore, the six sociopaths are indicted http://ktla.com/2015/05/21/6-baltimore-police-officers-indicted-in-death-of-freddie-gray/ .
And one more, apparently the proper procedure for Vancouver goons while dealing with victims of car accident who for all you know may be bleeding internally or suffering from spinal and brain injuries is to slam them against the ground. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/vancouver-police-s-rough-takedown-captured-on-video-1.3079659 also never forget to try to break the camera of those filming you and then intimidate them with a bu11$hit ticket, petty, vindictive sociopaths.

  4. Looks like adverts are switched over now to dried goods, gun oil, discount cialis and, weirdly, my local AA chapter.

  5. I was getting some similarly wild targeted ads for a while, and couldn’t figure out why…until I discovered our babysitter was using my computer when we were out. So I looked at the history of some of the websites she was visiting. Yikes.

  6. That’s the golden commentary thread right there.
Gray Tools (check out their sales), Bosch Tools, some gun stuff, travel Montana and other western state’s sites, and plenty of things I’ve recently looked at on Kijiji.
    but nothing like your selections.

  7. It’s because Google thinks it’s a bunch of horny old men who visit his site.

  8. Ah, yes, personalized retargeting. As in – after you order something on-line – get annoying ads every time you visit a website reminding you of what you have just ordered.
Though, will say, Amazon seems not to do this. They’ll send me annoying ads, but no one else seems to have clued in that this week I bought a pattern book for crochet Star Wars critters.

  9. What is interesting is that a fair few of those laid off in Fort Mac will never have paid Alberta income tax. CRA, some years ago, determined that a worker’s residence for tax purposes is where (almost always) his family lives. Needless to say, this ruling did not sit well with the workers involved, as it meant – given their high incomes – that they were forced to pay significantly higher income taxes than they would have were they considered Albertans.
So the Alberta recession is going to bite the Atlantic provinces fair in the butt. They were happy to collect the taxes earned on the Alberta income without worrying about how Alberta provided services for their men. Now the men will be back home on EI (interesting to see whether on Alberta or Down East rates), and no more fat cheques from Ottawa for taxes on Alberta work.
To be fair, I can see the problem with the man working – and largely living – in Fort Mac while the eastern provinces had to provide for wife and kids. But Alberta also incurred costs.
We are not looking at a “fly camp” where geologists and prospectors would head into the hinterlands of another province/territory to explore for valuable minerals or – with the Geological Survey of Canada – try to bring a better understanding of our country’s geology. (For the record, both my spouse and myself have been on these expeditions, as well as – in my case – a summer job in an adjoining province). Those are really temporary, with the costs borne by the expedition hosts.
However, in this instance we’re looking at a systemic “three week in, one week out” pattern where a large number of men essentially commuted from down East to Alberta and spent over half the year out West. Fort Mac has its share of problems, and I rather think the sheer number of commuters contributes to that. Even if the men are housed in barracks by their companies, they are still using the medical facilities, etc., which costs are solely borne by Alberta. There needs to be a compromise on taxing these individuals, so that the provincial tax revenue is more fairly distributed.

  11. I went to Ezra’s website, I didn’t find any advertising at all. Other than requests for donations or paypal. there was nothing popping up. You may want to check your privacy and security settings, and then run a spyware checker on your computer. Update your firewalls, and look for an infection or leak in your system. Porn ads are among the most insidious and common spam infections.

“Good riddance to David Letterman, liberal king of late-night television”
“David Letterman’s death grip on late-night TV has finally been relinquished, and the only problem is that it didn’t come sooner. Though the mainstream liberal media made Letterman out to be just another of those lovable, hip late-night comedians, he was actually nothing more than a liberal mouthpiece running interference for socialist politicians like Barack Obama and liberal causes like anti-fracking.
Letterman’s infatuated idol worship of Obama has been documented all over the place, such as here, which of course confirms his left-wing allegiance. Obama returned the favor, slavishly gushing all over Dave in his final of 800 or so prior appearances on the Late Show since he’s been POTUS.
Letterman’s aggressive disdain against conservatives, barely concealed as a pitiful stab at comedy, has also been widely documented, such as here. His lies about fracking got so insane that he was even exposed by Forbes Magazine for particularly outrageous fear mongering on the issue.”
