About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

The New York Slimes this is the same liberal rag that emlpoyed leftists propegandists like Walter Duranty and Herb Mathews yeah ALL THE SLUDGE THATS FIT TO PRINT
Well, they walkered right into that one *parump bum.* I'll be here all week...try the veal...
When did James Doohan become governor of Wisconsin?
it defies comment.
Mixed him up with Gov. Rick Scott from Florida. Ah well. All those white guys look alike, right?
Beam me up Scotty.
Yes, and like Pravda know how to dress up the verbal skills. Agitprop with good grammar.
They have corrected... but not noted the change.
The complete phrase is: "Beam me up Scotty, there's no intelligent life down here." Sometimes quotes as "Scott me up Beamy...."
Either phrases will work for me.
The Times' America-hating, Obama-loving business model is not doing well, and they have been trimming their work force for years. They just finished another round of layoffs this winter, and I hope the trend continues:
--The New York Times began laying off staffers this week, after it was unable to meet its headcount-reduction target—100—through voluntary buyouts.
According to a memo from the Newspaper Guild, the Times plans to lay off 21 employees represented by the Guild. In a Tuesday memo to staff, executive editor Dean Baquet said that the layoff process would end "this week," meaning by Dec. 19.
The Times has already accepted buyout applications from 57 Guild members and roughly 30 non-Guild members. In total, the Times will cut more than the 100 newsroom positions the newspaper said it needed to eliminate as a cost-cutting measure on Oct. 1.--

--The company posted a third-quarter operating loss of $9 million, compared with an operating profit of $12.9 million in the same period of 2013. Investment in its new product initiatives, which include the mobile app NYT Now, contributed to the loss.--

Ahh yes, the Times. Almost as neutral and efficient as MSNBC is on TV. If they were to merge they could double their fan base to almost 100. Once Obama is turfed out of office neither one will have a reason to survive.
Sounds to me like they fear Walker....just like Palin spooked them.
Walter Duranty......
