A federal judge late Monday halted President Obama's deportation amnesty, ruling he overstepped his powers in trying to grant legal status and "benefits and privileges" to millions of illegal immigrants, in a stunning decision that chides the president and throws the White House's plans into disarray just a day before applications were to be accepted.

U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen seems to understand that if Obama is allowed to ignore or break the law, it will be permanently broken:
"The genie would be impossible to put back into the bottle," he wrote, adding that he agreed that legalizing the presence of millions of people is a "virtually irreversible" action.
That - the fundamental transformation of America - is the whole point for Obama, hence the promise to appeal the ruling.

I like his ruling in this case, but this Judge Andrew Hanen is not helping by adding the above part. People who hire non-citizens without work visas should be jailed for it.
Without jobs or welfare state benefits, they would go home.

Americans wanting to immigrate to Canada must get in line behind the Muslim hordes. It takes years unless they are rich and get Resident Visas through large investments but that doesn't necessarily lead to citizenship.

The Republican (asshole) Congress failed to stop Obama's dream act and that is now the law of the land. Those that got amnesty are home free unless their application involved fraud

Don't read too much into the judge's words. The hearing was for a preliminary injunction, which requires two things: (1) Irreparable harm, and (2) likelihood of prevailing on the merits. In the quoted text, the judge was justifying the irreparable harm prong.
The likelihood on the merits part was based on the fact that Obama did not follow the rules prescribed by the APA (Administrative Procedures Act) for promulgating regulations. The legal tension in the case is the conflict between an Executive Order and the APA, i.e., exactly when can you, if ever, avoid the APA by issuing an Executive Order?

That is what Obama is doing to the USA, most of what Obama does is wounding the USA a little more, not one of those things in itself can "sink" the USA but all of them together are going to cause irreparable damage.
It is not incompetence from Obama, it is malice, this was all planned way before he got elected.
