Global Warming (aka: climate change, extreme weather, climate disruption) is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on modern society - and you and this Government are complicit in this crime.

Already commented reminding the government about their windmill and solar power debacle and the fraud that is 'global warming.' Not much else to say and perhaps do because the Liberals have a majority and will do what they want for my good even if it turns out it isn't good for me.

A special shout out to the idiots in the GTA and Ottawa area who voted these corrupt, lying thieves into power. We are screwed here in Ontario.

I only hope that when the Ontario government drives more people put of the province they don't come to Alberta and screw this province too. Liberals don't assimilate, they infiltrate.

I pointed out that since mankind cannot prevent the sun's output from varying, the earth's orbit from varying and the jetstream from varying they were throwing away our grandchildren's money.

Sending anything other than the greenie agenda is futile. For G8d sakes, does anyone expect a government department named "Ministry of Environment and Climate Change" to change it's spots? This cable of bureaucratic paper pushers are not going to do anything to limit of kill their golden goose.

Still haven't heard anything from the "investigations" into the many government scandals yet.

Perhaps it would be more effective to point out the benefits of nuclear power as a green technology. One could also discuss the ethics of policies which put the most financially vulnerable in distress since an effective campaign that the government is harming the poor would be politically problematic. Just a thought. Criticism which appears ignorant will not be taken seriously but maybe it's time for the people of Ontario to demonstrate that energy and economic outcomes are seen and they matter.

Climate change is a natural process that has been happening for almost as long as the earth has been around. Nobody denies this fact. What we do disagree with is whether mankind is responsible for the climate changing. The people who support the cult of 'man-made climate change' have been shown to be willing to adjust their evidence to support their theories by adjusting records, ignoring records, and falsifying data. And when that doesn't work, they change the wording from 'AGW' to 'climate change'.
Meanwhile, they still want to take our money to pay for their fantasy. Or in Wynnes case, they want to find a new way to tax us to support their insane and illegal spending. BTW, have any charges been laid against the Liberals involved in the latest scandal? The one in Sudbury, eh! Or has that case been added to the pile of other scandals to be looked at when the devil is wearing ice skates at home...

I commented indicating that "climate change" is hardly the biggest problem Ontario faces, given the current debt level of the province, the projected deficits, the
fact that this government is now under 3 police investigations, and that the
province is no longer a business friendly place.

I suggested they focus on the core areas of responsible democratic government:
restore Ontario as a favourable place for private sector enterprise, live within their means, and pay off the enormous debt.

Of course, they have not demonstrated that they are interested in being a responsible democratic government, so they will not take anything I say seriously.

Climate change, or what used to be called "Global Warming", is NOT the defining issue of our time. What it is, is the biggest scam of our time to extract money from citizens to help finance governments who cannot control their spending and debt levels.
The Ontario government is one such government who has run its citizens debt levels to astronomical highs, particularly in the last 12 years. Collecting and shuffling around more money is NOT going to change the climate. Reducing the amount of carbon that goes into the atmosphere is NOT going to change the climate. Penalizing individuals or corporations for their carbon emissions is NOT going to change the climate.
This government should be concentrating on CONTROLLING its outrageous spending and debt levels, NOT on trying to find new ways to finance more spending. It's getting to a point where many lower income people can't afford to heat their homes, especially through these last two long and extremely cold winters (this is global warming?!?).
Please focus on the REAL issues that the government and citizens of Ontario face, and NOT an over-hyped issue that has absolutely no scientific PROOF behind it, and is based entirely on speculation and (so far) completely inaccurate models.

It most certainly is not.

It's only important to those who seek to tax the very air we breathe.
It's only important to those who seek to control their fellow man, for what
isn't connected to our environment?
CO2 as a precursor to warming has been debunked.
The Earth is in a warming stage since the last ice age, thank goodness.

Kindly refer us to studies which show conclusively that the Earth SHOULD be
warming, cooling, staying the same. The Government of Ontario has NO answer for
those questions.

When the first line of the paper is demonstrably false, there is no point in reading or considering it. Climate change, real or imagined, in spite of specious theories of human warming, good or bad, is not a threat at all, except for mitigation from time to time (aka what the weather does).

Any politician who shops this drivel should be driven from office. The argument that climate change is some kind of "existential" threat is disproved by history. Was anyone worrying about the climate during two world wars? Since the warming experienced then is the same as experienced from the 70s to about 2000, why didn't we notice that threat then? Because it didn't exist then, and it doesn't exist now.

Pollution is a threat, not an existential one - yet, but a threat. When politicians get off their climate change bandwagon and talk about pollution, maybe someone will listen. In the meantime, "progressives" like Mulcair, Trudeau and two years back Adrian Dix (leading in BC election, opened yap about climate change and lost bad), write their own political epitaphs. The Wynne climate circus in Torontariowes Everybody Else is the exception that doesn't prove that rule. So, I'll leave them to it; hopefully they'll keep it up in their fight for a better share of the "progressive" vote.

Ontario's Climate Change Discussion Paper 2015 is based upon incorrect
information, taken from dubious sources in dubious publications.

"4, the number of degrees in this century that the planet is on track to warm
by,.." is based on incorrect models.

" Fourteen of the first fifteen years of this century have been the warmest on
record." Again totally false.

" Around the world, climate change is leading to an increasing number of
extreme weather events, ....." Not true.

This misinformation and voodoo science just goes on and on, which leads me to
believe the government is looking to once again waste money and make the lives
of the people of Ontario that much poorer in order to follow some hare-brained
agenda from the United Nations and other mountebankes.

I hope never again to live in what once was a thriving place, now that it's
been taken over by rogues and scoundrels.

The fact that the zealots changed their mantra from "Global Warming" to "Climate Change" is evidence enough that there's little utility in joining their "discussion"

Very telling that a government incapable of designing a centralized working system of e-health records for Ont, would embark on policies designed to monitor and manage worldwide climate patterns.
A story has it that Dalton McGuinty became aware of the benefits wind power from reading a magazine in a medical office. The story may be apocryphal, but with Liberals it is very possible.
The same government consulted some years ago regarding FIT tariffs and policies governing industrial wind plants. One section dealt with exports of power as if this was a positive benefit to taxpayers. Only people divorced from reality would see paying subsidies of 13.5 c kwh for wind electricity which ends up exported for about 3.5 c or less is a good policy. Even the AG has pointed out the loss to Ont of well over $1 B on this file alone.

You all missed the obvious direction of this government's GHG/Climate change/green agenda. It is all about incremental public and private property conversion - from citizens and individuals to government "REGISTRIES" (IE rationing commissariats) _ this is the "CLIMATE REGISTRY" - they have signed onto with the carbon footprint reduction tasking of the UN -

Under agenda 21 your home has been arbitarily surveyed and categorized for climate footprint/energy efficiency depending on year built or subsidized eco upgrade - remember when Dolton wanted to send green energy police into your home for carbon evaluations?? Remember how that was scrubbed quickly - it's because they almost showed all the cards too early.

According to the unrealistic current UN GHG/carbon reduction targets there isn't a building in north America that is compliant in carbon footprint energy efficiency - not one - so they really don't have to send out green shock troops to find you in non compliance - they KNOW you are not - when the timing is right they will legislate that being out of compliance to this standard will result in some forfeiture - either hefty fines or loss of title in default if you refuse the big buck renos to comply - It will be a wholesale government transfer of private real estate to their direct control.

With Socialism/Communism they wanted economic control over the means of production, the means of financing, the means of distribution, and all communications.

Most of us peons are here providing services to other peons and caring for each other.
