Mischief Is Important

An insipid Coca-Cola campaign goes horribly wrong;

According to Adweek, Coke has now had to pull an online campaign that it launched alongside the commercial because it resulted in the company's main Twitter account spitting out images that included the text of Hitler's Mein Kampf.

Twitter: the internet equivalent of mass transit. Just say no.

Almost as annoying as Captcha!

Looks good on them. I have not purchased a Coca Cola product since 2009 when they put their logo and endorsed the snake oil conference at Copenhagen.

"Mein Coke"

Of course the marketing people knew that they were inviting abuse.

Naturally they are embarrassed that their carbonated C02 laced beverages; are
"gassing the planet".

You can't fix stupid or vicariously evil. When do the 'greenies' turn their attention to "Mein Coke" with their C02 laced 'planet killing drinks'?

Cheers

I had the sound off when i saw the blurb...but just from lip reading i coulda swore he said; "mein kampf or yours...?"

oops - inadvert conflation with the Pop Culture WTFark blurb above this post...

Did you know that Mein Kampf in Arabic means My Jihad, no I am not joking.

---> Rose...It is true...Make no mistake...Coke is in cohoots with WWF, Greenpiece..UN...and islamofascist radicals. Hey! It sells. At least Jordan has shown a little bit of balls, as compared to the so called civilized West. I mean f@@k....Syria has no air force, limited ground troops, and no support. Jordan could wipe ISIS out in an eye blink. Mind you, they seem to have started. Maybe they view themselves as Israel, muzzie killing non-sharia muzzie, and drown them in the sea. About time the odd "moderate" muzzie state woke up.

I didn't consider it to go "horribly wrong".

I mean, the whole point of the twitter campaign was that it turned "hate" into "happy".

I think that mockery is some of the best antidote to things like white supremacy or communism; turning Mein Kampf into a picture of balloons and puppies works.

Good stuff. Me? It was their polar bears.

kok-a'kola: old Blackfoot word meaning "snake with green-stained tongue".

Don't like nor do black liquid coke nor white powered coke.

Yup. It was the polar bears that ended Coke for me too. And I haven't bought Chiquita bananas since their anti- oil sands BS at about the same time.

Can anyone rememebr New Coke? pretty bad they soon brought back Coke Classic
