If You Study Hard, You Too Could Be This Good

From poorly-choreographed wrestling to radical door scraping, students of performance art attempt to blow our minds.

It's not so much "art" as it is mental disorder or a "performance" as it is a psychotic episode in public. Art can be the cover for a lot of psychological demons these days, just as "science" is a cover to legitimize fallible ideology _ this is what you get from a depraved university system - open celebration of chronic mediocrity

If they were black we'd be forced to say it was great.

However since they are a bunch of white racist pigs, we can genuinely call their art mentally ill sh*t.

Off topic-

Spot on Occam.

There's and old nickel kicking around that the artists are the antenna of society. If true stuff like this speaks as poorly for us as it does for the intellectual cripples that indulge in it.

I don't care if they dress up in Cabbage leaves and film themselves attempting to poke a cucumber up a dew worms butt, just as long as my tax dollars don't go to support that nonsense.

There's a lot of proud parents out there somewhere...

It's amusing to see how inept the thingies are - it is clear that they are unaccustomed to work of any kind.

Public art is this anything like the infamous Anrea Saranos PISS CHRIST? which the notorious National Endowment for the Arts paids outa big bundle of tax payers money for? Lets see this idiot do Piss Muhammed and see how fast he ends up having a fatwa placed on him and his head is in danger of being chopped off

It makes Swan Lake look like a classic.

And just a few years back we had Krista Erikson on SUN NEWS(I think) exposing someone with these same abilities who was receiving funding from Arts Canada and Krista got hauled over the coals by CBC et al.

Out there, manning the front line of stupid.

How DOES one describe "performance art"?

If a young woman dances about on a bridge or lays down and plays dead, that apparently is performance art.

So, if I and group of friends get together and attend one of those ubiquitous demonstration against something, and we rush into the crowd of protesters with our axe handles and "perform" on them, does that qualify as performance art for the working class?

And can I get a grant?

Frightening to think it took years of education to get to that point. They walk amongst us and they breed. Since most have no logic or talent they will become college/university professors and many will find employment with the CBC/MSNBC, which means taxpayers will have to support them for the rest of their lives. They will live in New York or California, Toronto or Vancouver and the disease will remain contagious and unstoppable. Here we were led to believe that climate change (weather), economic collapse or even Muslims at the gates was the next apocalypse to threaten our survival. All childsplay to the horror I just witnessed.

The Stupid it BURNS......

An artist is a person with enough gall to call themselves an artist. Only if rational people consider a person an artist are they really one. These twits are simply justifying vandalism in the name of art (I only lasted one minute into the video so maybe it got better?).

Ontario College of Art has worse and you're forced (at the end of a gun) to pay for it if you live here.

No, it didn't get better.

How's this for performance art.

Banal. Vapid. Ludicrous. Deluded.
It isn't art if no one will pay to see your performance for it's own sake.
Anyone could do what these children did if they lacked the inherent dignity to abstain.
Everyone can boil water too, but that doesn't make them a chef anymore than what these kids did made them artists.

Many of us can remember this magnificent example of what 1.8 million can buy. One of the first indications that many in the art world were insane.
