Where to start. The US state department thinks it's a job thing? BTW, there are many Americans who have given up looking for work due to the pathetic recovery seen in the US courtesy of the "Obumbler" administrations policy. If you can call it a 'policy' because no one can seem to figure out what the plan is. Same way for their foreign policy. ISIS doesn't care about 'Jobs' they care about killing as many non-conformists as possible in the most gruesome ways. It is mind-boggling how absolutely clueless and incompetent this administration is. Many have wondered is it possible for Obama to be this stupid or does he just surround himself with stupid people to give the illusion he is the smartest one in the room but with the likes of Harf he probably is.

Marie Harf is the deputy spokesperson for the US Department of State and a former spokesperson for the CIA. The CIA! I don't believe that she's naive. She's parroting the Valerie Jarrett/Obama line. (It's good to see Franklin Graham and other Christian leaders now speaking out against Obama's lack of sincere concern for the Christians being murdered.)

The 21 Christians that were beheaded were in Libya looking for work. The killers all had a job and were fully employed killing infidels. Ergo...the root cause of hatred and destruction is full employment. Makes more sense than Harf's theory.

This kind of foreign policy interpretation must be named - I vote for "Harf-witted".

I'm not a military expert, but I was under the impression that killing lots of people on the other side was the generally-accepted method of winning wars, far superior to, say, baking cookies for people on the other side or inviting them to sing along with you.

This whole thing is insane. Here we have a large number of sociopaths conveniently gathered together in one place. These are not impoverished Muslims as many of them come from the most advanced economies of the world. They are sociopaths, plain and simple. Think of them as rats. You have a barn full of rats so you surround the barn to prevent escape and then you burn down the barn. Problem solved. You don't send in a cat every day or so to drag a dead one out which seems to be the current strategy.

In over 6 years, Obama can't even provide jobs for Americans, yet the 'solution' to IS is to provide jobs for them. Losing strategy if taken at face value. And how does the Obama administration explain Americans heading over to Syria to join IS?

The Obama administration is a cult. They are absolutely unable to look beyond their socialist bromides and think that IS can be dealt with through economic means.
