Egypt Unites Against ISIS

Michael J. Totten on Egypt's attack on ISIS in Libya.

From their point of view, all Christians on earth, including secular Christians, are “crusaders” fit only for slaughter.

What in hell is a 'secular' Christian? You're either Christian, or you aren't. There's no such thing as a hyphenated Christian.

That being said, where is the universal condemnation from muslims around the world? There's supposed to be 2 billion of them, you'd think we'd hear something from the religion of peace.

Well, we know one thing, Ol' Mellow Yellow won't be chastising the Egyptians like he would have if it had been the Israelis who bombed the garbage.

Obama admin upset at Egypt for not seeking a political solution:

"where is the universal condemnation from muslims around the world?"

Their religion doesn't permit them to criticise other Muslims to infidels nor does it allow them to make alliances with infidels against Muslims.
That's actually one of the doctrinal talking points that IS makes to the faithful, and IS's atrocities make a good motivation for not being seen as unfaithful.
That was also one of Osama bin Laden's taking points regarding the actions of Saudi Arabia in allowing the U.S infidels to stage operations in KSA against Saddam Hussein during the Gulf War/Desert Storm.

>Saddam Hussein’s 1990 invasion of Kuwait proved to be a pivotal moment for the burgeoning terrorist group, as Bin Laden offered to use his Arab legion, buoyed by their recent victory in Afghanistan, to fight the Iraqis and defend Saudi Arabia. King Fahd rejected Bin Laden’s offer, instead inviting troops from America and other non-Muslim nations to lead the fight against Hussein in Kuwait. Viewing such a move as a betrayal of the Muslim faithful, Bin Laden railed against the House of Saud, moving to set up operations in Sudan.
[...]
Now he understood his mission as fighting both illegitimate Muslim rulers — the House of Saud being first among these in his eyes — and the irreligious and corrupt Western powers: the near and far enemies.

Non-Islamic governments in the Middle East and North Africa understand that they are the 'near' enemy to the IS Caliphate.

The same ISIS that Obama has armed Obama the peace prize winning terrorists supporter and war crinimal we should realy consiter impeaching obama then handing him over to the egptians as a war crinimal but first revoke his peace prize

Just great. It gets even better. So now the O-dumber (Prez) and his gang of fools is saying we can't beat ISIL in combat, no folks. Let's try another way. Give them jobs so they won't fight.

My God, what has happend to the once Great USA.

We are doomed.

IRAQ POLICE CHIEF: ISLAMIC STATE HAS BURNED ALIVE 45 IRAQIS

http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/02/17/iraq-police-chief-islamic-state-has-burned-alive-45-iraqis/

Islamic State terrorists burned forty-five people to death in the ISIS-held town of Al-Baghdadi, a local police chief told the BBC.

Another tribal leader said regarding the situation in al-Baghdadi: ISIS has “deployed snipers on the top of buildings and they are shooting everyone trying to get out.” the tribal leader warned of a “massacre” of al-Baghdadi’s 50,000 citizens should support not arrive.
...

I'm sure the US State Dept. will offer ISIS jobs "manning the OVENS", because they are just such swell guys... /sarc

"Egyptian Christians in Libya are hardly 'crusaders.'"

Not only that, but the Egyptian Christian community - like every other Middle Eastern Christian community - predates Islam by over 500 years.

Obama must be pissed!

Nobody messes with his ISIS, not nobody.

From Totten's article:

"For all the faults of its coup leader General Abdel Fattah el-Sisi — he is without a doubt a far bigger brute than Hosni Mubarak..."

Really? More brutal than the Islamic State, el Quaeda, or the Muslim Brotherhood?

Even this "journalist" is infected with the progressive MSM virus.

Enough journalistic "balance." Sisi, Abdullah, Bibi, Assasad. Whatever you think of them they show more cojones and leadership than the O'bozo democrats and those leftist clowns running Europe.

If you read " bigger brute" as a "bigger balls" it might seem as correct.

Maybe they're both brutes but Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is taller.
Let's face facts. It takes a strongman to keep the various Muslim factions that live in that part of the world in check.
Hosni Mubarak was no squish, he was a brute too.

The ruler of Egypt has to be brutal. The question is, should he be brutal toward the extremists or the non-extremists.
Bear in mind it takes more effort and brutality to keep the extremists in line, but then they can have a tourist economy in Egypt again if he's brutal toward the extremists so there is more reward there too.

The Persian's, Babylonians, and Berbers were always brutal. Islam just didn't happen to change +5000 years of culture.

Neither will a group of tree huggings with big ideas and a personal sense of whats right or wrong.
