Greetings from the parking lot of a half empty outlet mall in Recoveryland, Colorado. Should be back and blogging sometime Wednesday, weather permitting. Today, weather didn't permit.

Recovery land indeed.! Some 96 million people in receipt of food stamps and a real unemployment number likely approaching 20%...

What a total joke. Yet the DJI keeps hitting new highs...

Me..? I am buying physical Gold n Silver..that mountain of financial BS in the US and EUROPE added to the ME implosion.... this system will collapse, maybe not tomorrow and with interest rates poised to go zero, it's only a matter of time.

Completely agree Steakman. I expect parking lots in American malls will
see less and less traffic as the oncoming recession takes hold.

I think Kate was referring to the retail vacancies and not the parking lot.
Half of the stores are not lit up.

Kate, there are better ways to get warm weather.
I think they'd make more money fencing the lot and renting it for RV storage. Not a very encouraging snapshot of the 'recovery'.
