  1. A woman in Van Zandt county, Texas shot and killed an intruder breaking into her home around 4:30 am. The 37 year old male intruder had a record for s3x offenses and had failed to register as a s3x offender. My previous attempt to post the link has gone to the moderation and may never be seen again. My guess if that the word SSSEXXX prevented it from being posted. The article can be found at Hotair or the daileycaller.

  2. We as humans, define things by contrasts. Although not religious, I prefer the song more than than comments above.

  3. Yes, incredible version of this song. Great lyrics. While I’m not a huge country music fan, Vince Gill is a great artist. Good singer and incredible guitar player. No offence to Ms. Underwood, but I have a huge respect for artists who can both sing and play an instrument. Gill does both very well.
I have to say it to…..Carrie is beautiful! 😀

  4. Agreed, Northermont. Ezra could probably use a few kind words right about now. I’m in.

  5. Thank you for tonight’s music selection. Carrie is a great singer.
Finally the countries, such as Jordan and Egypt, with the most to lose in the short term are hitting back at ISIS.
“Egypt says it has bombed Islamic State targets in Libya, hours after the group published video showing the apparent beheadings of 21 Egyptian Christians.
State TV said the dawn strikes had targeted camps, training sites and weapons storage areas. A second wave of strikes was reported hours later.”

  6. This is Chinese resident Maurice Strong’s dream coming true….shut down industrialized nations. Ontario is at the forefront. When the wind doesn’t blow and the sun doesn’t shine, taxes beyond the people’s ability to pay, regulations on everything we do, what’s left but to turn out the squiggly bulbs and leave for places that practice some form of sanity and freedom.

  7. Mark Steyn:
“As much as I loathe these fanatics, I despise even more Obama and the European political elite that gives them succor and trades our liberties to appease madmen. They have seeded a cancer in the heart of the west that will consume us all.”

And we also need to worry about “ultra-fundamentalist” Christianity and keep our eyes out for any forms of extremism and radicalization and not simplify the narrative by blaming Islam.

  8. “It is so rarely that Kate disappoints. I felt sure this would be tonight’s entertainment.”
Very, very rarely….considering it was/is EBDS who does Readers Tips and the songs!

  9. I tried to sign up to the Rebel but it looks like it won’t accept without a phone #.
That’s where I draw the line, I don’t want anybody calling me.
    Sorry Ezra, I’m out.

“A relentless winter storm blanketed large swaths of Nova Scotia with a treacherous mix of snow, sleet and rain before a deep-freeze set in Monday, leaving thousands without power and closing major highways.”

  11. I recently read an article that claimed the accelerating warming was displacing the cold air at the poles forcing the cold to move to more inhabited areas. I’m afraid before to long the tropics will be uninhabitable due to low temperatures. (Sarc)

“Is Hawaii’s solar power surge slowing down?”
“Hawaii’s solar boom ran into trouble in late 2013 when HECO began dragging its feet on approving new rooftop solar systems for connections to the grid, citing both technical and economic limitations. A major technical hurdle, HECO said, is the intermittency of solar power at night and during cloudy weather. Maintaining power quality and reliability is already difficult on isolated grids such as those on each of Hawaii’s islands, and high levels of intermittent solar power add to the challenge.
The economic obstacles also have been formidable. After a century of receiving power from utilities, customers are now generating their own power and helping the grid to balance supply and demand via smart appliances that can curtail electricity demand when required. To manage this more complex relationship, utilities must invest in new infrastructure. Buying surplus power at retail rates via credits to homeowners with solar panels also creates a revenue drain. “Essentially, the utility is now competing with its own customers,” said Bentham Paulos, a clean energy consultant.”

  13. regarding Mr Strong’s whereabouts, agendas at Queens Park, price of oil, Cuba’s immediate future etc, it’s all connected by the fact the world economy is a gigantic Ponzi scheme.
if this assertion is true, it explains a great deal.
p.s. according to a recent Frontline blurb about Vladimir ‘Vlad the Impaler’ Putin, 110 Russian billionaires own 35% of that nations resources.
