After this week, I’m getting the distinct impression that love and politics don’t mix all that well.

Having listened to others with similar “training”, I’ve often wondered the same thing.
Basically, he’s a fool for love. He’s not the first and he won’t be the last. But if he had thought with the head above his shoulders, and either kept her at arms length on official matters or convinced her to stop bidding on state contracts, he could have kept his job. Also, doing a background check on her way back when would have been a smart move, too.
Heh. I seized upon that same quote. I can translate: “She’s a trained bullshit artist.”

She had some good ideas on changing the climate. It should only rain or snow between 1AM and 5AM.. Clear skies in the Morning & cloud cover in the PM…
