West Virginia;

A bill that would repeal a 2009 law that mandates utility companies get 25 percent of their production materials from sources other than coal by 2025 was passed by the West Virginia State Senate unanimously Wednesday, with debate only on an amendment to the bill.

Senate Democrats attempted to amend the bill to include a study by the legislative auditor on the repeal's net effect on jobs and utility rates. [...]

A similar push for the act's repeal in the House of Delegates is likely to mirror the Senate action.

Not to worry. West Virginia has enough DemoRATS and moonshine to be happy. The decline of the USSA and chimp-in-chief can't quick enough.

Why would have WV passed such an insane law in the first place.. the KKK must have promised free money (Sen Bird,Democrat) An inbred culture of stupid following Stupid!. Talk about stuck on Stupid.

And the Wynne LIEberal government will be following suit after their gas plant closures...in 3,2,1.

Cheers

In 2009 the WV state legislature had large Democrat majorities in both houses. Now thanks to Obama there has been a definite move to Republicans in most state legislatures including WV.

Wva has the highest unemployment rate in the country
Not including the methmakers.
i guess they really want to stand out in the field
30%

There is a lot of repealing to be done all over the country with special attention to be paid to the most destructive entity in the nation, the EPA. Obama was their closest friend and they will get very lonely after 2016.

This'll most likly bring out those troublemaking pests from GREENPEACE or some other eco-freak group of granola munchers/tree huggers/gaia whipping freakos and junk mail from some green eco-freak group featuring hollywood idiot Robert Redford
