The Selective Outrage at Global Jihad

Like Uri Goldflam, Thomas Friedman is a Jew. Unlike Uri Goldflam, Thomas Friedman is an American Democrat who thinks the Obama regime's current ongoing talks with the Iranian regime about their nuclear weapons program will lead somewhere useful to peace in the Middle East. Mentioning terror attacks against Israel at this time could be seen by Friedman as unhelpful to the negotiations.

I think Obama's talks with the Iranians are Kabuki theatre calculated to stall Israeli intervention and allow Iran to get nuclear weapons, which will eventually happen absent military intervention. Friedman may suspect so too, but as a Democrat it would be politically unhelpful to mention them.

So Uri Goldflam is correct in that Thomas Friedman has not mentioned the recent terrorist attacks, but the exact reason could be in question.

I think Friedman and the other journalists are appeasers and are in denial about Islam.
What it will take to wake them up,(I had a discussion with my wife last night about this very thing and we had no answers), is anybody's guess.

A guy at work and his wife were watching CNN right after the French terrorist attacks. They were astounded to hear some idiot CNN talking head say how surprised he was that the terrorists would take over a Kosher deli.
