Reader Tips

In tonight's amusement en route to the tips, from the Irish comedy Father Ted, we take a few moments to familiarize ourselves with Craggy Island's hard-drinking Irish priest Father Jack.

Feck warning.

The comments are open, as always, for your Reader Tips.

A few years ago scientists "discovered" that being cold/chilled/wet has nothing to do with catching a cold. A thousand years of common wisdom down the drain!

Ooops

The great saviour of the environment, along with with his Liberal cohorts at CBC have taken a 180° on the issue of carbon tax. In a radio interview, he says, very nonchalantly, ''It's up to the provinces!''

The nanny state marches on, knowing we are too dumb to make our own decisions and that PVC chairs are destroying the planet.

Naaah .... Benjamin Levin wasn't trying to sexualize children or anything ...

Iran, which just wants to be like any other bastion of freedom and good will, according to Kerry, is clamping down on any entertainment that could be enjoyable in order to keep the messages of Islam and the ruling class pure. Sheep need constant herding.

That dang fool Tommy Mulcair is out courting MotherCorp.

Knocked on her door with $115M in candy, wrapped candy from the taxpayers.

EBD, I'm my understanding of the Pope's position is that posting clips from Father Ted is equivalent to calling his (Francis') mother a loose woman of questionable hygiene and insisting that she no cook-a the nice spaghetti. According to his Holiness physical retaliation is therefore in order.

Maybe hiding would be the best course of action. You know, until the Catholics calm down.

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a feck!

Surely the Pope's position would be Missionary?

Christine Blatchford is right: jail doesn't work for some people. Which is why we used to kill them. Exhibit A?

Racist Winnipeg. Allow me to introduce you to the amazing story of "Bloody Jack":

http://www.winnipeg.ca/police/History/story8.stm

http://www.spectatortribune.com/article/finding-bloody-jack-beyond-the-perimeter/

Born in Romania, Bloody Jack grew up in Plum Coulee around the same time that the first Russian Mennonites started to arrive in the town, a migration sparked by the Canadian Pacific Railway’s arrival in 1884. But Jack differed dramatically from the pacifist neighbours who had come to carve out a faith-based community in a new land. No doubt taking the cue from his father, a gambler and carouser of a man, and his mother, whose bout of horse thievery in Europe had become stuff of legend, Jack robbed his first jewelry store at the age of eleven. Four years later he spent time in jail for stealing a bicycle. But these petty crimes were mere warm-ups to the roller coaster that was to come.

Geez, I totally forgot about the Latino guy, and that whole papal outsourcing thing.

I'd better hire a bodyguard.
