Too bad that the powers that be couldn't have determined he had deserted in the 5 years he was held prisoner. Than his punishment would have been execution, which the terrorists would have had no problem doing themselves.

Canadian media notice? They could hide anywhere in the NE of Calgary and fit right in , the terrorists could. Walk right down 52 St in Temple and nobody would be the wiser.

There's little doubt in my mind that Bergdahl is guilty of treason, let alone desertion. He converted to islam, and aided and abetted his "captors". But it might be difficult to get a treason conviction, especially with a muzzie sympathizer in the White House. But desertion should be a slam dunk.

And yes, it should be news here in Canada, too, given that we have troops in the same conflict that could have been endangered by his actions.

Bergdahl was just a plausible excuse for Obama to release 5 Muslim terrorists.
Obama violated the protocol of getting congressional approval first, so I think it's amusing that the new congress is stepping on Obama's toes when it comes to observing protocol.
