Some of the young men I know from the prairies joined the Army infantry, artillery and logistics units. Some saw deployment in Afghanistan and all thankfully came through physically unhurt. These nice fellows want nothing more than to get into a firefight with these people. Yes, they are also terrified of getting hurt or killed but they also long for an opportunity to prove themselves and their training and to make their families, friends and country proud of them. They absolutely hate the idea of being treated like some sort of relief agency rather than an effective combat team.

This is a game (for lack of a better word) that Trudeau cannot win. The more hawkish he sounds Harper simply can one up him and maintain the high moral ground. Meanwhile Trudeau moves further from his pacifist base. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

Years ago I remember seeing G Gordon Liddy talk when he came to Calgary. This was not long after the end of the end of the Vietnam war and the phrase, "Peace with honour" was still fresh in people's minds. As Liddy put it, "I don't want peace with honour; I want victory". The crowd roared.

Ya gotta respect a leader who will come right out and say "we're going to kill them" instead of pussy footing around.

I like that! Plain language from a politician, ''we're going to kill them'', not negotiate,or try to find root causes, just kill the SOB's!

If we can get enough politicians to adopt this method of peacekeeeping,there may be hope for the world yet!

So does pantywaist Trudeau want our Military Forces to lay down their arms when confronted by enemy guns aimed at them, OR, not be armed at all? Does he want the known enemy, Islamist terrorists, to freely roam the earth to accomplish their mission, kill all Infidels, all who do not believe in the Islamic/Muslim "faith"?

Surely even the twittering females who adore him have to be a tad concerned about where we would end up under his leadership. You'd really have to be a butt head, out of touch with the reality of the dangers facing the Western World if we do not fight this scourge of our time with all our might.
