Oh, Shiny Pony!

That awkward moment when Justin Trudeau courts the marijuana vote while shunning Jodie Emery. Heh.

I will bet you a nickle she changes her mind. Can't keep a good ego down!

Very interesting. I wonder what skeletons are in her closet which forced Turdeau pull the plug on her dreams. Probably a great many.

Jody may keep quite, but Marc is the loose cannon.
Marc has a bigger ego than Justin, and you can bet dollars to donuts the team that leads with its Butt will make the mistake of trying to stiffle Marc.
Even once will be enough.
They just created a liability for Leisuresuit Larry.

Didn't Marc smoke a big reefer with the pony? Here's hoping we hear a lot from Emery during the election.

Another generation of Canadians mobilized to defeat Adolf Hitler and his evil Third Reich...

Today, we see Canadians rally for the high and noble cause of, er, well, legalizing pot.

What a lofty and inspiring moment for our country!

Dope is for Dopes

Another sign that politics is no longer about sticking to ones' principals...but having power. Trudeau knows having Emery as a candidate would turn many away from Liberal candidates across the country.

This particularly shows just how much liberals/socialists are total hypocrites. They only want power and any means to get it will suffice...even if it means denying someone who actually epitomizes one of your platforms to court the LIV's vote.

The best role for Marc is finding political campaigns. The 2002 BC Marijuana party was essentially a Libertarian party and Marc just funded it. Marc doesn't care who will legalize weed which is his primary goal, not liberty. I've talked to him about Libertarianism but the pot advocates don't understand that liberty means shunning totalitarians. He's the ultimate loose cannon and I hope he gets involved in the Lieberal campaign.

"james asks Didn't Marc smoke a big reefer with the pony?"

i got this... per marc emery...

"Justin Trudeau has smoked pot, I witnessed it in 2003, he enjoyed it, and then six years later as an MP he went to Parliament and voted for bad legislation that wanted to see pot people put in prison for mandatory minimum prison terms."

pspawn replies...

"Marc Emery was "flat out lying"...

This is one of the few smart moves made by the Trudeau machine,Jodie Emery isn't the problem, her husband is.

Having an MP with a convicted time-serving criminal for a spouse isn't exactly a positive for any political Party leader.

The Riding in question is currently held by Libby Davies and the NDP will probably win it because the place is chock full of "victims" who believe both the Liberals and Conservatives are fascists.

The Dippers will undoubtedly run another community activist like Davies, and win comfortably.

I hope the CPC will lay off the "pot" scare mongering which makes them seem old, Victorian and out of touch with the under-fifty demographic, and concentrate on their strengths, experience, fiscal management, sound economic policy, and bringing in thousands of Muslim refugees and immigrants from the ME and elsewhere.

Trudeau has no intention of legalizing marijuana, but he knows that if he makes that promise,he will probably get the votes of a good portion of the 19-35 demographic,if they'll get off their lazy asses and actually vote.

The problem with Trudeau isn't his relaxed attitude to dope smoking, it's that he is a real life Chauncey Gardener, a man who's lived his life sheltered in a cocoon of privilege, having never accomplished anything, even so much as holding down a steady job, in his entire life.

Stupid cell phone funding not finding

Sorry for double post as don't normally post from my phone.

Written in small print on this rejection letter is the obvious LPC statement: "we are liberal in name only - embrace the new Canadian Falangism"
It is not your place to question dear leader

"Davies told reporters Friday that after almost 40 years in public service, it was time for her to pass the torch.

She has served as NDP house leader and deputy leader in Parliament."

I just listened to her interview with Rick Gibbons on CFRA. What a woman, talked about how she has previously run as a liberal as a sacrificial lamb as against Libby Davies in an unwinnable liberal riding. Her rational is is that it is the conservatives fault that she can't be the canidate. Because they would fear monger about drugs, their cheap personal attack ads, the liberals hands are tied and can't let her run because the cons are so darn dirty?????? WTHeck...guns in our cities ring any bells for this woman. I guess reality that they have used her like a tampon while she was handy and now are throwing her away: is just not going to compute for her...

"...politics is no longer about sticking to ones' principals...but having power. ..."

They are sticking to their principle - they have only one: That they are the ones who should wield power..

The Liberals are so consumed with hubris that they think they can run a "legitimate" candidate in a brain-dead NDP riding. Emery, either one, couldn't win that riding for the Spawn, nor could any other Liberal. By rejecting a throw-away candidate like Emery, either one, they have simply reinforced the bad spin regarding the centralized control of riding pseudo-democracy. I would have enjoyed the loose-cannon effect on the Spawn that Marc would have been were he to be successful.

Confusion in the enemy ranks? Awesome!

Micro-managing out of Ottawa. Isn't that what the Conservatives are accused of?

What's going to kill off the Conservatives is the Duffy trial. I suspect Duffy will defecate on Harper and his buddies to stay a free man. It isn't going to be pretty. I kept sending Harper emails telling him there was no happy ending to the Senate mish-mash. He never thanked me. Mind you thnking me implies someone read the email. Marjory LaBreton was too dumb to keep it under control and it was way too obvious.

I heard her on CFRA as well.

She bad-mouthed the Conservatives and called them names because she says they bad-mouth their opponents and call them names.

I like the woman.

It is too bad that Justin doesn't think that she would be capable of doing the job because her husband would control her.
He did the same to Christine Innes.

Apparently JT doesn't think that these women can be independent from their husbands. JT sounds an awful lot like a knuckle-dragging throwback.

I wonder if his wife chose to give up her career to become Mrs. Justin ?
Or was that part of a pre-nup?

Justin is certainly a chip off the old block. His dad spent a lot of political capital first gelding Liberal Party riding associations and then making the "leader sign off" the electoral law of the land.

A one trick pony.

Scar: With all due respect I don't think duffy has a bullet left in his gun. If he did, he wouldn't be proceeding to trial, he'd a been bought out. He's last months news.

Duff hasn't got a thing to hang on the conservatives.

With pot being legal right across the border in Washington, it's only a matter of time before it's no longer a issue in southern BC. In Libby Davis riding it would be a plus to be a drug pusher or champion of anything gay. Preferably both. So the man-boy is really thinking east votes only, knowing he only needs Ontario and Quebec to become the next PM and leaving that seat for the NDP rather than step into controversy that his approval would generate. Like his old man, he doesn't really give a damn what happens in the West, but he also knows his looks and hair could generate a few seats even if he does nothing. Too close to the election to make waves now.

Someone should ask how the legalization in Washington and Colorado has worked.

1) How much did the dope sales collect in the massive projected taxes?

2) Did organized crime turn tail and run away?

3) Did medicinal dope sales decrease or was there a massive increase?

4) How many children actually stopped using, or are potential for never using, because of the legalization?

She likes to take a piss, while standing, on our soldiers (either dead or alive).

JT is right behind her.
