Not Being an Artist, You Wouldn't Understand

Performance artist Eames Armstrong insists, "I am not an entertainer."

You have to watch it 4 or 5 times to truly encapsulate the shifting momentums of the piece. Time well spent.

Having viewed as much of the video as I could manage, I find that Ms. Armstrong is correct. She is not an entertainer.

These things should have a breakfast warning: Not Before Breakfast!

And not during nor after.

And this is why there used to be "Insane Asylems". I think it's time to open a few more up. And these people are allowed to vote as well. God help us.

I agree completely, these people used to be locked up for their and our good, we're way too tolerant these days.

I made it to 1:29, that's enough time wasted.

Not an entertainer? Obviously not. But were those poor saps in the audience dragooned in at gunpoint or did they actually pay to suffer thru this drivel? Then again, maybe it's some kind of masochistic fetish thing. Creepy as hell, anyway.

I thought it was pretty rude of that guy to get up and leave right for the end.

Let me guess - the artist was a recipient of a massive NEA grant.

"Naturally, Ms Armstrong is also,Transgressing conventions.
You see, she’s, shifting our perception of the world."

The goal is to deliver a political message. Not entertainment to be sure.
Most of the Left try to confuse politics with entertainment.
It's refreshing that she has set the record straight on her true goals.

WTF, over.

Agree with you and Don. These people are worse than the residents of a home for mentally challenged where my wife worked.

Yes it was. It was also rude of the "performing artists" to invite people to watch them.
