This moderate Muslim wants to raise an Islamic army in Australia and take over the government of the Country, but the Minister says "acts of terrorism will be investigated".

I dunno if this can be seen as an act of terrorism, but personally,I'd consider this guy guilty of treason and fomenting revolution.Do they have to set off a bomb or shoot people before the authorities pay attention?

Time to talk seriously about limiting further immigration from Islamic governed nations methinks. There's two Japanese men I've seen on the news who'd support that...if they still happen to be alive.

Stop immigration (invasion) from Moslem countries and deport any Moslem advocating tyranny, anarchy and oppression (Sharia), pretty simple really. Swearing allegiance to the country that takes you in should actually mean something.

All well and good to voice our concerns on SDA. But its to the 'decision makers' that we should be speaking. When I saw yet another woman wearing a niqab in my local library yesterday, I knew it was time to write the Prime Minister a note (again). I urge all my fellow SDA'ers to consider doing likewise.

Dear Prime Minister Harper and Immigration Minister Alexander;

I am writing this from Nanaimo, a small city of 86,000 on Vancouver Island. I wish to acknowledge that as a young country, Canada has been a destination of choice for immigrants from around the world and we are a better nation l for having accepted them. Indeed, we will need many more skilled and highly adaptable immigrants in the years ahead.

Having said that, I also wish to say that I am deeply disturbed by ever more frequent appearances of women wearing a full niqab as I shop and do business in my community. The niqab, allowing only the eyes to be visible is a symbol, a statement that says “I am apart from you” that “your values are not my values” and that I have no intention or wish to integrate with the Canadian community. It is as much a social/political statement as a religious convention.

I question whether these women sat before an immigration official wearing the niqab as they went through the immigration process. Or did they temporarily ‘bow to convention’ in order to facilitate the process, knowing that Canadians would ‘tolerate’ garb that isolates and alienates as a symbol of misogyny? I wonder why those who have made the considerable effort to immigrate, would choose to alienate the community they’ve found attractive?

Women wearing the niqab – and by extension the spouses who either insist on their doing so or who support them in isolating themselves – are less able to contribute to the well being of Canada. They will not find jobs. They will not integrate with their more diverse and secular neighbours. Their isolation can lead only to creating ‘enclaves’ of like minded individuals and I fear that immigrants who cling to the symbols of fundamentalist Islam are here not to ‘Canadian’-ize themselves and their children but rather as ‘missionaries’ in the spread of fundamentalism.

There are so many worthy immigrants from around the globe who are willing and able to adapt to and embrace Canadian values and customs and who would willingly contribute to our society. I am asking that our immigration officers be directed to be much more discerning and circumspect in whom is given the precious privilege of the opportunity to become ‘a Canadian’.

Sedition, plain and simple.
Note all that entered that speech and rally around the extreme rhetoric...and deport them. Period...not really rocket science.
Soon, it will stop.
