When do we as Christians stand up for our right to our faith in our country? If we keep turning the cheek we will not have a country in witch we are free to worship in. I don't think the bible says go like mindless weak sheep to the slaughter. Just saying and jesus was so cool and powerful he knew what was up and why he was here. His job was to show us humanity, civility love, peace, kindness, compassion,but ultimately to deliver a message of salvation. Catholics are different because they focus on idols, and buying their way into heaven. That's just a fact not to insult. "I am the way the truth and the life the only way to the father is through me" in other words it's jesus who did all the work for us. Dying and conquering death.

When you look at catholisim , yes it is worshiping idols, kissing the feet of a statue, paying indulgences,Ect ect. I very rarely hear about Jesus paying your debt, and yes jesus flipped the money changers tables and was very angry. and yes he drove them out.

I don't have anything against catholics or catholisim if the pope encourages more Islamic immigration into European countries so be it. If the pope believes that gay marriage is actually bringing the church into the 2000's and more mainstream and acceptable great.

But it just reassures me as to why I am not catholic.

Once again this type of attitude is not only in the Catholic Church , it is accounting in evangelical churches too , Anglican,United, Lutheran (which is what I am) we are abandoning scripture to appease our selfish sinful desires. We are trying to please mankind rather than God.

It's a big show for Catholics, river rat, the pope mobile,fancy clothing,just to much show and shine for my liking. I will say they are some very good catholic priests who give the word , and don't mince words about scripture and I like that. I think those guys are the back bone of the Catholic Church. I cannot agree with the pope. Who has admonished those who have a lot of money , meanwhile he lives in a massive 10 bedroom mansion has a person crew to tend to his every need. It is just not right. Not to me anyway.

Again I still beleive Catholics will have salvation ,but they don't need all the window dressing jesus rode a donkey , and people loved him. Same goes for the pope. Anyway I don't mean to insult you I just tell it how I seeit
