Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

See, Obama's directive to NASA for Muslim outreach is paying dividends. I'll be it won't be too long before the brave rocketeers are face to face with Allah himself, and getting details of their 72 Virginians.
Hmm!.. I wonder where the first one is going? I guess the NASA apprenticeship is just about complete.
Israel is within 6 minutes of existing Iranian missiles, excluding this one. So, Iran strikes Israel and wipes it out. Iran gets Israeli cruise missiles form Israel's Dolphin Class subs in return with nuke warheads. Iran loses 30 million of its 70 million people. Game over for Israel. The ayatollahs have said many times they will sacrifice however many Iranians it takes to wipe out Israel.
No one else will come to Israel's aid as they don't want this new missile with a nuke fired at them by the lunatic and suicidal religious fanatics of Iran.
Pretty good strategy and Obama approves. Israel has an existential question to answer and as each days passes it looks more and more as if they will not do anything. I hope they make a pre-emptive strike against Iran, but maybe they can't or won't.
With friends like the US, Isreal don't need enemies.
Twice the IDF had strike aircraft, ready to launch with engines lit but had to scrub because the US leaked the satellite intel to the wire services...so that Iran had warning.
Yep, Isreals Dolphin Class subs are mini boomers.
The trouble is the Iranians(the mullahs) don't care....suicide bombers on a national scale.
Is it real or a mockup?
Remember Iran's rollout of it's "stealth fighter".....
Then there is that full scale mock-up of a US flat-top observed in the Gulf.
Then there is the problem of designing and building a nuke small enough and light enough to deploy on a rocket.....a feat the USSR never really mastered....that's why they had such monster rocket boosters.... capable of putting a locomotive in orbit.
Didn't O'Bummer shootcan the Pole/Czech missle defense system? Hmmmmmm...
It will take more than one missile with an "A" bomb to wipe out Israel. I say "A" bomb because I doubt if anyone in the region has, or will have, a hydrogen bomb but Israel. To John Galt, Iran will lose a lot more people than 30 million if they attack Israel. They also have the problem of pissing off Pahkastan and Indjia, who are both downwind and both have nukes and delivery systems. In fact, Iran is also down wind of Israel and their own launch site, as are Arabia and the Emirates.
By the way. Note the ground just to the lower right of the missile. That is what the rest of Iran, Syria, ISIS, and Gaza will look like if the Iranians screw up.
Now who do you suppose it suppling them? CHINA?RUSSIA?the UNITED NATIONS? or OBAMA?
Maybe everybody is just a little bit nervous over something minor.
File under probably nothing, could this actually be an observation tower so as to get a better look at Mecca? I mean, how often do you get to see a site which has magical powers?
I wouldn’t be too concerned about Iran “nuking” the Dome of the Rock. They would need a conventional invasion of Israel to avoid destroying Islam’s second most holy site.
Similar for the rest of Europastan, nuking European countries today filled with millions of devout Muslims and thousands of Mosques would not bode well for Iran’s regime locally.
Western Societies biggest fear should be the Enemies Within – both foreign and domestic (especially domestic).
Open Borders and Progressive Liberalism is what will kill the west, if not sooner than later.
That does not mean to say that Iran gets a pass, they should be destroyed as a regime as should all the Middle Eastern Islamic regimes. But that is impossible to do cost effectively and safely for the west with the current “Enemies Within” and Open Border policies.
Nuclear power for peaceful purposes. Uh huh..........
Sooner or later, the Israelis are going to take care of this problem themselves. However and whatever it takes. And they won't give a flying **** what the Obama administration thinks about it.
The Obama-Nation™ has not a clue and it is playing dangerous game. The Dems won't even have Netanyahu over for tea during the 'delicate negotiations' with Iran...
Obama White House in meltdown over Netanyahu’s proposed speech to Congress
http://hotair.com/archives/2015/01/23/obama-white-house-in-meltdown-over-netanyahus-proposed-speech-to-congress/
"Speaking to the center-left Israeli newspaper, one unnamed source said that congressional Republicans’ decision to invite Netanyahu to speak before an upcoming joint session was an affront to the dignity of the administration. When Netanyahu travels to the United States in March, he will not have the privilege of meeting with either President Barack Obama or Vice President Joe Biden. They will have their revenge against Netanyahu by completely yielding to him control of the national stage. That ought to show him."
According to Haaretz, one official says they have more ammunition to deploy against the leader of one of America’s strongest allies, and they intend to use it.
“We thought we’ve seen everything,” a senior American official said. “But Bibi managed to surprise even us. There are things you simply don’t do. He spat in our face publicly and that’s no way to behave. Netanyahu ought to remember that President Obama has a year and a half left to his presidency, and that there will be a price.” [emphasis added]
The question is, "Is the price to let the Iranians launch a couple of free ones?"
The one thing we know for certain is that the Obama-Nation™ is no rocket scientist.
I would blame Werner von Braun, V2s and all that.
And if the White House is in 'meltdown' where does that leave Israel?
Cheers

Oh, c'mon, you guys.
Surely that's just a new high-rise condominium.
Or a really big cold box.
Nuke 'em. First Tehran, then Mecca, then Medina. (preferably no greater than 30 second delay between missile launches). That's how you have to play ball with this willing martyrs. If the Islamic world revels in the "glory" of death so much, why does Israel not cooperate and make their wish come true? Concede to them! Talk about reaching out to your enemy!
Hans on January 23, 2015 12:23 PM - The Whitehouse seems to forget that they had Bibi go in the side door last time, not greeted on the Whitehouse steps as protocol would dictate. Obama followed that up by getting up in their meeting and leaving to have dinner with his family, leaving Bibi with his staff. Insults tend to return to the sender.
Obama and Kerry assures the world it's just a big hotel they are building.
Clinton will be more of the same.
Clinton told Winnipegers she is not in favor of setting deadlines for Iran in their negotiations.
Here is what is happening as you fiddle and give Iran time.
How long is she prepared to wait?
As the Prime Minister of Israel said "these missiles aren't intended for Israel they already have plenty of those. These are long range missiles that are intended for you. Get with it."
Tel Aviv would be the target
From Charles Krauthammer:
--Yet the Obama administration appears to be ready to acquiesce to the new reality of Iranian domination of Syria. It has told The New York Times that it is essentially abandoning its proclaimed goal of removing Assad.
For the Saudis and the other Gulf Arabs, this is a nightmare. They're engaged in a titanic regional struggle with Iran. And they are losing — losing Yemen, losing Lebanon, losing Syria and watching post-U.S.-withdrawal Iraq come under increasing Iranian domination.
The nightmare would be hugely compounded by Iran going nuclear. The Saudis were already stupefied that the U.S. conducted secret negotiations with Tehran behind their backs. And they can see where the current talks are headed — legitimizing Iran as a threshold nuclear state.
Which makes all the more incomprehensible President Barack Obama's fierce opposition to Congress' offer to strengthen the American negotiating hand by passing sanctions to be triggered if Iran fails to agree to give up its nuclear program. After all, that was the understanding Obama gave Congress when he began these last-ditch negotiations in the first place.
Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez asks: Why are you parroting Tehran's talking points, Mr. President? Indeed, why are we endorsing Iran's claim that sanctions relief is the new norm? Obama assured the nation that sanctions relief was but a temporary concession to give last-minute, time-limited negotiations a chance.
Twice the deadline has come. Twice no new sanctions, just unconditional negotiating extensions.
Our regional allies — Saudi Arabia, the other five Gulf states, Jordan, Egypt and Israel — are deeply worried. Tehran is visibly on the march on the ground and openly on the march to nuclear status. And their one great ally, their strategic anchor for two generations, is acquiescing to both.--

Oh for petes sake. I had one of those little suckers in high school. Can some one tell me the last time the Yanks won a war? Or even participated in one? Didn't think so. The Israels are very capable of protecting themselves. As stated above...with the chimp-in-chief as a friend, who needs enemies?

"Tel Aviv would be the target"
Your probably right with that, regardless for Iran to "nuke" Tel Aviv alone it would then be Iran that would be wiped of the map.
Valerie Jarret controls the US/Iran negotiations, Kerry and Obama check with Valerie first. Valerie is the EU/UN socialist/communist (WH Spy) in command of ME policy that hopefully will benefit Brussels. Clinton took her orders from Valerie
F**K with Iran & Russia (Putin) may launch. The US foreign policy is controlled by strange Muslim characters. A Kenyan born goat herder (Obama) and an Iranian born Communist (Valerie Jarret)
What can go wrong with everyone using a lying teleprompter.
Knight, your comments would make sense with an enemy for which mutually assured destruction means that they will take no action. For a people that are willing to strap bombs on their own children in the hope of taking out one of two of the enemy along with their child, not so much.
Jerusalem is holy to Islam in part because they took it away from the Jews. I don't think that they would cry over its destruction, I think that they would rejoice because the holiest city of the Jews was destroyed. I think that it's the legendary moderate Muslims that would decry the destruction of the rock, most of the fanatics would be delighted because of all of the vaporized Jews. The Muslims and Christians that were killed with them are secondary (a minor bad, and a major good in their view).
God did not give the Jewish people a homeland and control over the temple mount so that they would be targets of weapons of mass destruction. The Jewish people and Israel will suffer greatly but they will not be completely destroyed. Messiah will intervene and in doing so will destroy all Israels enemies.
"The Jewish people and Israel will suffer greatly but they will not be completely destroyed."
You got that right. There are about 1 million more Jewish people living in the U.S. than in Israel.
It seems to me the biggest nut bars in the Muslim world are Saudi Sunni not Iranian Shites.
Now that the King is dead it appears his successor and many younger royal family members are great supporters of Sunni radicals. It is the Saudis who have exported and funded radical Islam for many decades.
I have no use for any of them. Harper should be shutting the immigration gates to the entire ME.
C_Miner >
“......your comments would make sense with an enemy for which mutually assured destruction means that they will take no action.”
Islam (at the leadership level) likes doing things with other people’s children not so much their own, suicide vests what have you.
That said, the occupation of Israel and the destruction of the Jews is only the beginning for Islam. If it were only about Jews they wouldn’t be killing Christians, Hindus, and Buddhists all over the world.
Therefore, “mutual destruction” with Israel is not a goal of Islam’s. Some sacrifice and losses maybe, but not complete inhalations as they have a whole world of other fish to fry after the Jews are gone.
CT >
"Harper should be shutting the immigration gates to the entire ME."
Agree 100%.
Someone needs to explain better how ME/ Islamic immigration benefits the west. There is NOTHING that they can do that cannot be bettered by other friendly foreign immigration, or local indigenous talent.
In fact if they have any real skills including so called "moderate views" then they would be best left at home to effect the positive change that they supposedly benefit us.
We don't need it thank you, share some with your own countrymen.
Knight, you parsed my words much more tightly than I had intended. Those in leadership positions in Islam don't risk their own kids, similarly those who will try to destroy Jerusalem don't live there - to them it will be an acceptable loss (IMO). That's why MAD, which worked between the US and the USSR, won't work with Islamic zealots. The baby boomers are the strongest example, but honour killings are another example of how little the lives of family members can mean in arabic culture. I disagreed with your comment that Jerusalem won't be a target because it's also holy to Islam. I think it will be a target because Islam wants to destroy what others has more than it wants to preserve or elevate itself.
Muslims fight every neighbour, but have a special hate-on for Jews. Are there any other groups that are singled out by name so often in the Koran? Their oldest and most hated/feared enemy, a Jewish Israel is unacceptable to the worldview that is held to that says that all must submit to Allah or Allah will see to their destruction. If the old testament God does protect Israel and the Jews, then what does that say about who Muhammed was talking to, and whose will they've been doing?
We're fundamentally in agreement, it's a matter of the details where we disagree.
The circle in the picture is around what looks to be a mobile gantry. The missile is to the left, in the shadows. Note the flame trench.
Absolutely right! The main reason the Shites were on our shit list is that they wanted to kill Sadam instead of us. The other part of that is that they hated us for supporting the Shah. The Saudis have been the ones exporting trouble, they have been for years. Read Kipling! Without the Saudis, most of our internals on islam would go away.
If Congress passes new sanctions over Obama's veto it will be a new environment and the Israelis will see a green light to take care of the problem.
"Say Mr. Ayatollah, nice rocket ya got there. Shame if something might ..happen.. to it." said the Israeli Prime Minister.
Yahweh has been punishing his chosen people since the beginning of time for their rejection of Him. I can't see Him intervening any time soon unless a major enlightenment occurs among the Israelies.
I hate to burst your bubble but, I think it was the UN that gave the Jewish people a homeland. That was probably the last useful thing they ever did. Now, however, they would take it away and give it to the Palestinians thus making themselves totally useless for their entire history.
An "affront to the dignity of the Obama administration"? LOL, surely they jest - this administration has no dignity whatsoever.
