Grün Macht Frei

Auschwitz is a grim reminder that some ideas and attitudes are dangerous. Contempt, scorn, venom - not to mention fervour about a new, improved tomorrow - lead to dark places.

Which brings us to environmental activism.

My simple idea for a peaceful happy world is to kill all utopians the minute they self identify. Of course it would never work because I would have to kill myself first for imagining such a beautiful world. A world of shopkeepers, it would be great though.

Tim; a world of shopkeepers and their employess working in recognition of the need to have customers to provide job security. I am in. Cheers;

''How does this differ from what happened in Auschwitz?''
Indeed.
And how does this differ from what's happening in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya....?

It's quite normal to get that idea at some point, that killing everyone would solve whatever problem seems foremost. Been there, thought that, grew up. As you did, realising that, well no, that doesn't really work. But lots of people put off growing up, even to the end of their lives. Greens, Nazis, communists, Islamists, different causes, different labels, different "solutions", stomping their feet and shouting that everyone must do it their way or else. It's all the same personality defect.

Israelis have a joke: "Germans have never forgiven us for Auschwitz."

Of course these wankers would write up stuff like this, just after the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz (Jan 27). Clearly these moral incompetents have learned so much.

Naturally, the Enviro-Nazis are certain that CO2 is 'gassing the planet'.

Too bad none of these jackbooters can put together a mathematical equation describing the formation and dissipation of clouds; still less the mythical climate world they inhabit.

50 million people later in the dust up of WWII, and they really have learned precisely nothing.

Cheers

They're ramping up the rhetoric because they're losing. Price-Waterhouse didn't even bother asking about global warming in its CEO survey. The US deal with China got nothing and gave away Tibet, the "2014 is the hottest year" meme fell apart essentially immediately, and temperatures continue to plunge lower than the lowest bounds of IPCC prediction. On top of that, the expectation of a meaningful agreement in Paris this year is zero, and oil prices have plunged to a seven year low.

In short, the greenies see their entire narrative circling the bowl. So they're getting a little hysterical. Or a lot hysterical, even by their so-called standards.

"Many a true word spoken in jest."

I'll never forget the irony of the motto the national socialists placed over the entrance gate to this inhuman work camp - ""Arbeit macht frei" - "Work Liberates you!" - typical statist socialist thinking - like the poor souls they doomed to walk through the gates of these work camps were making the ultimate heroic sacrifice for the Uber-state.

There's a little bit of this in every statist - that people are just there to exploit for their political agendas - We have 3 morbid statists leading federal parties and virtually all police brass is on board with the Übermenschen statist ethic

Did not the good fruit-fly doctor say more than once that people that do not believe his bs should be jailed. With the mindset of people like the good doctor and this Greenpeace activist it is not much of a stretch that they would consider gas chambers for "deniers".

cgh - there is no basement for stupid.

"A Greenpeace activist thinks the world would be a better place if we chopped off “everyone’s heads.”"

They never start with their own.

Go ahead do yourself in, the rest of us will follow.........
