Katherine Timpf reports on academia’s ongoing cultivation of stoicism, fortitude and self-possession:
Princeton University students recently launched Tiger Microaggressions, a service that takes other students’ reports of microaggressions and publishes them on its Facebook page — so that no one has to “carry the burden alone to call out” offences against political correctness… The page, by the way, also refers to microaggressions as “papercuts of oppression,” which are “so small but slice deep.” […] According to the operators, “microaggressions are all around us” and anything can be a microaggression because “there are no objective definitions to words and phrases.”

truth is irrelevant to these tiny minds. microaggressions is another word that they made up. my computer does not recognize it as a word no matter how I spell it. it seems that being a victim of something, anything is what these folks seek.
In the mocrospocpic minds of liberal intelleciual idiots all america must join with the rest of the world in some dumb WORLD COMMUNTY poppycock showing liberals brains have been effected by drugs and sniffing glue
Back to Canada’s now defunct Section 13. It’s not what you say or do, but how it’s perceived.
Progressives truly celebrate ignorance.
“papercuts of oppression” forsooth. Meanwhile in Australia today we have several “sucking chest wounds of oppression” in the form of casualties from a Mooselimb terror attack/atrocity. Attention from the SJW crowd, zero.
I looked at the Tiger Microagressions balderdash page and was pleased to see most of the students posting were doing so with mischief in mind. I think the Princeton Special Snowflake Brigade have managed to create a powerful engine of self-mockery. I was tempted to report myself for the crime of Breathing While White, but couldn’t be bothered figuring out the comment mechanism.
Setting up a fink line for political transgression has to be the ultimate self-mockery of Leftism all by itself. I’d love to introduce these brave Social Justice Warriors to some “blunt force trauma of oppression” scars on people who have actually fought tyranny with real bullets. Might have a salutary effect on their precious wee craniums if they saw real battle scars on real human beings who fought Evil and won.
You know, after they finished throwing up their lunches. Reality can be so… real.
Just get over it with a self-respect bandage.
