Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I couldn’t help but notice that one of the suggestions in the sidebar (at least for me) was entitled “Most Insane Ski Line Ever”.
Oh please…please…
So who outside of Sun News and SDA is cognizant of Trudeau’s hypocrisy? Like everything else from the left, all that matters is image. JT wished to project a certain image, and he has done so. So the LIV, that is all that matters. To point out facts….well, that is just so mean-spirited.
so you talk the talk and then you walk the walk
it is different yes, walking and talking
Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they’re here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday
Suddenly, I’m not half the man I used to be
There’s a shadow hanging over me.
Oh, I yesterday came suddenly
Suddenly…I’m imploding electorally
Hypocrisy…I’m not half the man I used to be…
Now the NDP is overtaking me
Oh I believe in lying LIEberal-ly!
Oh, the LIEberals are so yesterday…

For Justin, walking and talking at the same time is difficult. But he’s a pretty face to front the organization.
The Liberal Front Man,er Boy, sounded so definite on open nominations in every single riding so what happened? Did one of the puppeteers pull the wrong string?
Sadly, Trudeau 2.0 will be elected by 50% of the population, because he has nice hair. Sadly, there is little that can be done about it. It makes me want to weep for this nation. I thought we were better than that?
Heh, but Harper’s the control freak – gotta love the demented narratives concocted for the zombie vote.
“Trudeau 2.0 will be elected”
Such predictions cause emotions such as those experienced when speeding toward a busy intersection and discovering that your brake pedal goes to the floor.
If there is any justice and common sense in this country, the Liberals will, once again, finish 3rd. It should be a no-brainer.
Exactly! CBC, CTV, and Global will be running cover for this liar.
Question, how can you tell when a Liberal is lying?
Answer, it is talking.
Happened to notice the day the Sikhs walked out of the party the banner headlines on NNW “Liberal membership has skyrocketed since Trudeau became leader”. In other words if you think Trudeau lies you should see what his covering MSM does to cover for him.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the pessimists. Harper is pm because the media turned on Iggy. Unless they do the same to trudeau he will win. I don’t think they are going to start reporting the truth. The Toronto Star is the highest circulation newspaper in Canada. It’s nauseating to read it, yet most people who do believe it. People like my highly educated and successful sister and brother in law. These are people who should know better, but don’t.
“…If there is any justice and common sense in this country, the Liberals will, once again, finish 3rd. It should be a no-brainer.”
Actually the no-brainer voters will be for Justin. And a moment’s reflection on the people you encounter on any day will probably bring a frightening realisation of how many of them there are.
Justin’s falling in the polls and a majority of people now say Harper’s the best guy to lead the country. This is 10 months out from an election and six months before income splitting and child benefit cheque increases start flowing. JT might become PM, but it’s not going to be the Trudeaumania that many speculated about a year ago.
As for these riding battles…meh…nobody normal cares and frankly, filtering out the zany hi-jackers should be protocol for any mainstream party.
The Liberal convention just before JT was basically acclaimed featured Bob Rae on stage fielding motions from the crowd. (I know this because I saw it on CPAC…I was really bored.) Anyway, one bat-shit looney leftist took to the microphone after another. It was bad. Really bad. When a party collapses so badly it puts them at risk of attracting only the bottom of the barrel, because the normals have zoned out. I don’t blame them for trying to vet candidates. The “open nomination” statement was more of a fire shot across the bow of the old guard that had gotten far too comfortable and fat and lazy and corrupt and entitled. JT wants fresh blood in the ridings, but he wants it to be the blood he selects. Simple as that.
Justin is just another Liberal Liar. This my response if! One can get an average Canadian to discuss politics. This is the real problem.
Over the decades of Liberal Party brainwashing about Librano good things they have made discussing politics something not to be done in Canada.
We have to take it to them. Them being every Canadian we know. Tell them it is their Civic responsibility to not be ignorant about politics in Canada. They owe it to their children to not let ignorance of Canadian politics be the reason for the future Liberal Party corruption to take place, as it always has.
Tell anyone who does not want to discuss Canadian politics that it will be their children and grandchildren who know their ancestors could have, for the first time ever, move beyond the sophistry and solipsism because of the free information flow on the web. Then! and only then say; Justin is just another Liberal Party Liar.
Cheers and good hunting.
Agreed re. Iggy, Minuteman. The so-called “Orange Surge” was a media event, once they realized their man Iggy was going to tank. Does anybody honestly think Quebec voted in MP’s whom they had never met, or did not even live in La Belle Province, because of policy? Or because of Jack, who had been on the Dipper ticket for several previous elections, but garnered no buzz? They were told by CBC and CTV that there was an orange wave, and they voted to be part of the trend that would never have existed had not the media party decreed that it shall be so.
And Joe….”if you think Trudeau lies you should see what his covering MSM does to cover for him”….. best quote of the thread, and sadly, the fact that most voters will fall for.
Half the population is below average. Explains a lot.
“Just..uh…Watch…uh…Me”
PMSH and his crew have done so much while at the helm to get this country going in the right direction. We are all facing the sobering reality of an absolute idiot and a gang of thieves taking over and undoing all or most of the good work and performing a 180 back toward the abyss.
The MSM will continue to cover and lie for the fool and his bandidos and demonize Harper at every opportunity. All we can do is work hard to engage people in a serious discussion on politics. Try to convince them to open their eyes, take a good hard look at the way things are and ignore the bullshit that the CBC offers. With any luck, Trudeau will f*ck up so badly that the MSM will be forced to abandon the moron and concentrate on making Mulcair look good, if that is even possible.
He’s quite a good little liar already, gotta hand it to him.
The US has been going through their “idiot” phase. The consensus was to buy more ammo.

Thanks for this link, Kate.
It should be helpful this Xmas in demonstrating to a couple of my naïve in-laws that Trudeau is as phony a bullsh*tting politician as you can find.
It will be entertaining watching the media bob and weave next election in trying to protect Justin from himself. Ha, as with PM Martin, I think they will have no choice but to eventually give up.
I have said before and I say again that Justine is a gift and will be defeated in the next election.
And I don’t think he has nice hair.
I picked a good time to go senile.

What the ad needs is a final page of text, followed by another sound bite. The text: “Maybe Justin’s thinking on elections is like his thoughts about controlling the economy.”, followed by the clip of Justin saying (I’m paraphrasing, but everyone should know the quote) “I have a lot of respect for China’s basic dictatorship and ability to get things done.”
I think Trudeau has been able to hide under the media skirts for now,but once he actually has to debate and promote his positions on anything he will be exposed as the most unqualified candidate to take leadership of Canada and the msm will then jump ship and adopt Mulcair as the next best thing.
Whether or not most, or even many, people care about candidate selection processes within political parties, this is, beyond any reasonable doubt or argument, a pretty stupid place for Trudeau, Jr. to be ten months before an election.
To my way of thinking, he should be in another place, namely, where he is painting a picture about where he would lead the country, backed up with a few policy “ideas”, at least (as opposed to specific proposals), that he can call his own.
Instead, he’s ham-handedly gotten himself tangled up in an administrative ball of string that he seemed to find in a ditch at the side of a road somewhere, or something. He’s the one who put the stake in the ground, supposedly to contrast himself with Jean Chretien, or Stephen Harper, or somebody; now he’s been hoisted with his own petard. A predicament entirely of his own making: pardon me for all the twisted metaphors, but it looks to me like he couldn’t organize a wine-tasting at a winery.
He also sort of reminds me of Mulroney running for the PC leadership in 1976, wherein the latter “glitz-ily” came third, having offended the sensibilities of just about everybody in the party. Mulroney overcame his peccadillos; can Justin?
Even excusing this nonsense, and his contorted over-reach on the alleged parliamentary “sexual harrassment” business, and Senate “reform” hilarity, and “pro-choice” zaniness, and whatever else, his policy pronouncements, if you can call them that, run to two-weeks-ago-yesterday’s moldy left-overs. Er, no thanks.
There is just enough weirdness in his picking-on-his-own people thing to cause me think that this is his way of trying to look macho cool. Obama’s way better at it than him, actually, despite the President’s lack of, um, “dramatic training”.
This is a bit off topic, but if you read the comments for the story posted below… it seems Ontario voters are SICK and TIRED of Liberals regardless of the postive press they receive. I think KWynne might be the final nail in the coffin for the LPC.
http://www.thestar.com/news/queenspark/2014/12/11/kathleen_wynne_pleads_with_tim_harper_for_meeting.html
Trudeau`s plan to force the other parties to release their platforms so he can copy them later has failed miserably; though he is still waiting for ideas from his party, given he has none. I guess he hasn`t noticed Mr Harper is gleefully releasing platform tidbits and will continue to do so up to and during the 2015 election.
Additionally, Trudeau is mistaken if he thinks he can use Kathleen Wynne to plow the fed bashing ground before him – to give him electable credibility and leverage the success of her Ontario Grits – for two reasons. First Premier Wynne is generally accepted as the blithering idiot of Canadian politics and outside Ontario few are interested in her style of overarching government replete with white elephants and corruption. Second, and part of the first, the Toronto effect that propelled Wynne to victory (over moribund opposition) doesn`t play federally, not even in Toronto itself, where the NDP are formidable opponents along with the Tories.
Trudeau will no doubt try the Obama meme game and, again for two reasons, he will fail. The Obama legacy is now flawed, tired and tainted and Stephen Harper and his Tories are not the easily flinchable Mitt Romney and his band of self-destructing GOP mates.
The only wild card is the media – but that`s a given that they are rabidly pro-Liberal in Canada (no Iberia not just the print media), so as their sway continues to diminish so does their fading hope of JT for PM. In the end he will probably bury himself with his narcissism, big mouth and poor judgement.
I think you’ve drank the kool-aid. The CPC will maintain their majority.
The LPC has done absolutly nothing to persuade voters who left the LPC last election and voted for the CPC. Those voters did not leave the LPC for Harper’s hair.
The wheels have effectively fallen-off the LPC wagon. They’ve already blown it.
add-up the LPC and NDP votes and it changes nothing.
JT will not win ANY elections. Mark my words 12/12/14
Barak Obama is the most talented politician since Ronald Reagan.
The One and The Shiny Pony are not in the same league. Not even close.
From the Star? That’s rich…the election was only 2 months ago. The Sun and Vic Fedeli were the only once trying to ‘inform’ the voters of Ontario about the crooked Wynne and Co. But the Unions were heard, The Star showed their bias and ignored the scandals, and, dare I say in Gruber fashion, the voters were too stupid to get rid of them.
I’m saying the folks commenting at the star seem fed-up; and that doesn’t bode will for the LPC. Read the comments and c4 yourself.
“Open nominations”, He uses these words a lot. I don’t think they mean what he thinks they mean.
Yep….so there is hope, or else Gruber was correct about ‘stupid voters’
Gruber gor it wrong, voters r smart, that is why they had to lie.
the narrative from minute 1 of the 2011 election night was that Harper won a majority but it would be impossible for him to win again. That’s what they were saying when the election results were rolling in.
Be careful people! This is a good story–but it does take the focus away from a sexual abuse case that the Liberals (with the help of the CBC) are hoping will soon disappear.
Remember the sandpiper or the killdeer that feigns injury–looking as though it has a broken leg or a broken wing, diverting the fox away from the nest!

All Justin needs is Ontario and Quebec. Both Provinces still have fond memories of his father, who had no use for the west. We have also seen how irrational the voters there are. Harper may have the brains but Justin has the hair. In todays world that may be enough. This is no longer your parents Canada.
I got there first, what was it we were talking about?
I think I was driven imbecilic by listening to the lib/dipper politicians.
