  1. NBC – ABC – CBS – PBS – DNC
Multiple acronyms for the same thing are confusing.

  2. It’d going to be facinating to see what’s Gruber’s posture will be in front of the committee. Will he be humble and apologetic or will he double down on being a arrogamt nasty fellow?

  3. If we’re honest about who Gruber termed ‘stupid’ voters, it would be those who voted Democrat, since they were the ones who were fooled.

  4. Specifically relating to the “related” article… “BRIAN WILLIAMS: A morning news anchorman in Australia has made an admission that underscores the huge fashion double standard between men and women. He says he’s worn the same blue suit on the air for a year and nobody noticed. Contrast that to his female co-anchor, who is hardly able to repeat an outfit during the same week without attracting attention and scorn. His co-anchor said it best, in fact, quote, “women are judged much more harshly for what they do, what they say, and what they wear.”
My experience has been 100% that it’s WOMEN who notice this. They themselves are doing the judgement. Timely and appropriate… at your Christmas party this year listen to the fashion cat calls and notice who they are from. Listen to the guys… they notice ‘revealing’ and that’s about it.
    Projection in a nutshell.

  5. According to the Washington Times article read this morning, Gruber abjectly and insincerely apologized for his brief moment of honesty.
It happens to even the most experienced in public life, fatigue, illness, drunkenness, or being high on drugs or self adoration will cause a political type to blurt out his true thoughts.
Nowadays, however, it all goes away when the person makes the usual pretend apology,”I’m sorry I told the truth for once. I should have known better,I’ll never do that again”.
It’s sickening to watch this type grovel before a Congressional committee, lying every inch of the way. You have to hope some politician will call him on it but it’s not likely,as they all love theater for the stupid masses.
“Stupid”, in politik-speak,means you didn’t swallow the line of the liar now calling you stupid, or maybe you did, and the liar conceals his contempt for you. Nonetheless, you’re stupid in his eyes.

  6. Mr. HUBRIS and CONTEMPT is now going to wallow in self pity for having the temerity to actually state how the administration feels about the RUBEs aka John Q. Public.
You’ve been “Grubered” is now a verb; describing how government has grabbed you by the feet, shook you up and down to shake loose the last pennies from your jeans.
After Obama-Nation™care you won’t even be able to buy a “I’m with stupid” t-shirt.

  7. I think gruber may just have had Romney’s 47% in mind and then he would be correct in his assertion

  8. I believe that it was a mistake for the hearings to focus on Gruber rather than the legerdemain that the government used to foist the ACA on the electorate. Gruber is an arrogant, unprincipaled elistist but so what? Isn’t that simply a synonym for an Ivy League academic?
Sure, in the end, the electorate didn’t like the ACA and that didn’t matter because the country is on the hands of arrogant, unprincipaled elistists. However, the electorate really hates being taken for chumps (If you like your health insurance, etc). Understanding clearly that they were misled, lied to, dismissed, and then brushed aside will feed a growing, justifiable rage in the electorate by 2016.
