Next question, why are so many Saudi funded Mosques being built across the western world, and why is the western world so accepting of this?

How can we stop the Saudi funded Mosques from being built when we live in a free society? We have freedom of religion which turns a blind eye unless and until they break laws following their religion we’re stuck with them.
Immigration from Islamic states should be stopped, alas we’re too stupid to take that action, they continue to flood in. We are helping them in their quest for World dominance.

If any of you are under 30 yers of age you will be under sharia law in Canada in your lifetime. I am too old to worry about it but you and your children are in for a rude awakening unless you can convince the government to stop inporting these muslims.

We go much further than merely according Muslims the tolerance and right to religious expression that our law and tradition extend to all people of faith. We convince ourselves that Muslims require “special” accommodations that we would never extend to other faiths.
At one formerly Catholic university in Canada, the administration dismantled its historic chapel (which had been used by students of all faiths) to turn it into office space, computer rooms, and “study space” (where I have yet to see anyone “studying”). At the same time, they opened a new room kitted out as an Islamic prayer room, complete with curtains to separate males from females (an idea that was the object of contempt and ridicule when the nuns ran single-sex residences), a rack of ride-share flip-flops, and a small library of Islamic literature.
However, in a touching gesture of tolerance and ecumenism, the new room was given a sign that reads: “Multi-faith Prayer Room”. Friends, you cannot make this stuff up.

We need to demand our present Conservative government take action to deal with this insidious issue as we approach an election. If the Conservatives ignore this serious threat to our country and Western civilizations there’s no hope of the Liberal/Left taking it on.
Send emails to the PMO and Immigration Minister,withhold monetary support until action is taken.

Trudeau’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms is the tool that will eventually take us down.All comers to this country are well aware of the rights as dictated in that document. Prior to that document were were a nation ruled by law, we were all equal in abeyance, got on with our lives in freedom. This Charter mess has us ruled by unelected Judges in the SCC, they get to interpret cases according to the Charter, gutless politicians go with their decisions.

Why do they recruit in mosques? It’s because the recruiters mistakenly believe that they will find people there sympathetic to their entreaties. They haven’t figured out, as the rest of us have, that Islam has nothing to do with Islam.

Whether it be the Progressives directly submitting to Islam or the frustrations of those supportive of the rights of free speech, freedom of assembly and freedom of religion, Islam is on the march unless the state walks all over liberty. Selective state discrimination is a tricky business and presupposes a culture not dominated by Progressives. Harper would never discriminate against Muslim immigration when he clings to power by pimping the mushy mindless middle vote that could easily support the Spawn or his clones of the left.
Citizen action, particularly action resulting in cultural change is likely the best way to contain the pathology of Islam. That will take martyrs like Ezra, as free speech in Canada has already been damaged by Progressives. The state is currently Islam’s greatest ally because it is currently the property of Progressives as is mainstream churches and all things cultural. Unless Canada is seen as having a dominant culture totally averse to the retrograde fascism of Islam, we are on the road to Shariah.

By observation of the human condition, and by close reading of history I believe that on balance most adherents of Islam just want to go about their lives without causing or having harm caused to themselves or others. In this regard they are not unlike adherents of many other faiths – they believe insofar as it is the thing to do under the circumstances, but pay much closer attention to their family and tribe. This is borne out in countless writings about MENA.
However, it takes very few determined ideologues to seize a movement and direct it’s momentum (see Bolsheviks ca 1917, NDSAP ca 1933 etc, etc). It is the destructive alliance between self loathing liberals on the one hand, desperate to undo all that is good about Canada, and their current alliance with a movement that is antiwestern – anti US on the other hand that is undermining Peace Order and Good Government. In recent times they have aligned themselves in a marriage of convenience with Salafist and Wahabist Islam, despite (or perhaps because) the fact that should their current partners in mayhem succeed, it is precisely the liberal / socialist / feminist who will up against the wall first.

I went to school with some Muslim kids. My department (physics) has about 10 Muslim graduate students at any given time. My observations tally with yours. Our weakness vis a’ vis their more violent coreligionists does them no good whatsoever (let alone us).
BTW several of these students are funded by the Saudi government.
However, only the fatuous and completely ignorant, that is to say the progressives, would hold that Caliph Ibrahim is not a Muslim nor ISIS a movement within Islam.

H. Ryan – and if they ever decide to start a post with mugshots of Muslim female terrorists, they will probably – with an eye to their civil rights, do the same thing.

If the CIA could find Osama Bin Laden then why can’t they slip an agent into every suspect mosque (we could do the same here in Canada) and record the imam reciting hate speech?
Later, anyone attending that mosque must be subject to scrutiny and basically headed for deportation. If muslims are truly non-violent and just want to be part of western society they can do so from home (although even that doesn’t rule out social networking of sorts from corrupting the so called ‘moderates’).
When the usual lib or LIV type person I have contact with assures me that “it’s only a few of them that are bad” I always suggest that the numbers I keep hearing are 15-25% of 1.3 – 1.6 BILLION. I then ask them to do the math and suggest they tell me which ones I should watch for since they play by no standard rules of engagement so you never can be sure which one might blow up at any given time or place.
