The girl was at a bus stop near the corner of Taradale Drive and Taracove Road N.E. at 11:30 p.m. Friday, when the men — unknown to her — attacked her and dragged her to a nearby alley before sexually assaulting her, Oncescu said.
The men later walked the teenager by force to a home in a nearby community, which police have not identified, where she was repeatedly sexually assaulted for hours. She was also beaten with a weapon.

I’ll have to reserve judgement on the Calgary case until the ethnicity or religious background of the perpetrators is revealed.
After all, they may be entitled to ”special” consideration, and may not be just plain guilty of a heinous crime, as,say,an average white rapist would be in these circumstances.

Two men have been charged after a teenaged girl was allegedly abducted in northeast Calgary and sexually assaulted multiple times.
Police say the 17-year-old was waiting at a bus shelter in Taradale around 11:30 p.m. Friday, when two strange men brandished a weapon and took her to a nearby alley.
Investigators say the girl was sexually assaulted and then taken to a home where more assaults occurred.
Police explain the teen was able to escape Saturday morning and was taken to hospital with physical injuries, including a possible concussion.
She’s since been released, and Staff Sgt. Melanie Oncescu says they are keeping in contact with the victim.
“She’s being cared for and obviously in a circumstance like this, this is a very traumatic incident and we’ll make sure that’s she’s got supports in place to deal with this,” she said.
Police say the teen did not know her captors.

A third man has been released without being charged.

That would be a sad commentary on where our country is going — as in violent crimes committed by certain persons are to be tolerated or perhaps ignored and most definitely excused for some past, yet non-sustantiated (in many cases) wrongs perpetrated on persons of similar ethnic persuasion who aren’t the alleged perpetrators of this crime (or others).
