Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

Gotta love it!! Spraying GMO corn with pesticides. Folks over at WWF and Greenpeace will flip! ☺
THAT'S how we feed 7 billion people.
Did you catch the bit about Iowa (??) getting 25% of its electricity from wind. Well check their website. As it turns out, wind indeed produces X MWH of power in Iowa. But guess what? Their coal plants are still running AND Iowa dumps almost the equivalent of their wind output..well 3/4 of it. In other words, it over produces excess power and the overage is wasted. SO all that wind power is smoke and mirrors.
Some Iowa stats form 2012...
Iowa nameplate capacity = 17 MW X 365 X 24 = 148920000 MWh
Total output is 57,000,000 MWh of 38% of nameplate
Output is 56,675,403 and sales are 45,717,858
Coal capacity is 63,000,000 MWh coal output is 35,000,000 or 76% of sales
generation exceeds sales by 20%
generation over sales represents 78% of winds output
So, in 2012, about 78% of wind's output was wasted. A shell game.

A little bit of dynamite and those met towers won't be a problem anymore for the pilots. Its infuriating that those involved in the green scam don't care about the safety of people who live or work around those useless turbines. Its all about pocketing the subsidy money, not about providing clean, safe energy.
How do you turn off the auto-start on the video?
EDIT, killed autoplay crap - lance
Thank you.
"... THAT'S how we feed 7 billion people. ..."
And that's how we don't have to destroy a lot more natural habitat of wildlife to do it, too.
People are being killed by these things? Outlaw them all right now! If it saves just one life.
That is normal leftie protocol, I think.
If I had wind turbines on my land, the wind companies would get hit with a court action after they were built with a claim for wind royalties. A percentage of the income from my land and the met towers would be my case.
James Delingpole has a great article that everyone should read, including our Saskatchewan MPPs..
THAT'S how we feed 7 billion people.
"WE" have no responsibility to feed 7 billion people. Every person on this planet is responsible for feeding themself and their immediate dependents, nobody else. Either by gathering or growing it themselves, or by exchange for their labor. Anyone who can't manage that will starve. The idea that "we" are responsible for the starving 3rd world is just so much lefty-prog twaddle, and the UN Agenda 21.
