I would think the ravishing Ruby would be a nice fit with the Liberal "leader", they have so much in common, he's a former drama teacher and Ruby has done work with Bollywood.

The Liberals are so far out of the realm of reality it's fitting they should have a pretend leader. Ruby might be able to add that extra touch of eye candy to take them over the top when the media party have them on all their political shows, after all it's all about looking pretty and shiny to dazzle the masses.

Ruby Dhalla is perfect for the liberal party. She exploits those who she feels are beneath her. The nanny scandal displayed her true feelings towards those who work for her. And there is also the fact that she will take taxpayer's money to be used for her own benefit such as when she got money from Heritage Canada for a movie. Sheila Copps, then heritage minister, gave her a $13,000 grant even though the movie " did not meet any of the terms and conditions of existing departmental programs" according to Heritage Canada. Dhalla got it anyway because she was a prominent liberal and we all know how they don't hold themselves to the same rules that others have to follow. Its good to see that she is now out in the wilderness, alone and rejected. Buh-bye!

It would have been far less jarring to use red and white tape to obscure the logos and text. Then again, the black tape stands out -- could that have been Dhalla's intent?

She's already got her MP pension. Why ruin the chance to give another one out?

Her riding is made up of Sikhs and Hindus. Most do not approve of Justine Turdeau's ideas on issues such as abortion, the legalization of drugs and his apparent love of Islam.
I think she's realized she's dead in the water with Trudeau at the helm and took a pass on this one.
On the other hand, she wouldn't tow the Turdeau line and she was booted out by him.

Now why would she have BLACKED out Liberal on all the signs? If I had changed my mind I simply would have shown up with no signs at all. Could it be said that not all is sweetness and light in Turdoland?

At a time these days where "Liberal Party spokesmen" are falling all over themselves to be heard? Not bloody likely.

She didn't jump; was pushed.

Day before is planned to make an unspecified big announcement.
The big moment arrives she says something that could have been said with less effort and money (halls don't book for free) and fanfare with a press release.
Not long after "announcement" is made, she is quoted as saying "they told me not to run".
Very soon after that she recants and says "they wanted to make me run but I just couldn't".

The means test of course is how long this story runs.
The subtext in all of this is if some of the journos who sense there is more to this story get a call from their boss telling them not to. End result is that a few journos start feeling the pony should have to start answering real questions.

My take away is that there appears to be a rift growing inside the red party.
Therefore it is incumbent that the rumours be squelched as the justin era was supposed to be the end of liberal rivalries. ....cause the senior parliamentary pundits said so see.....they wouldn't try to cover up the truth would they?
I guess we'll see if there is any dissent this week.
