Roll on, Roll on, Saskatchewan

If you missed the last couple of nights of Byline with Brian Lilley. (umm, you're not watching?) then you missed his shows on Sask.

This is home to me. I came back in '95 and have never regretted it, my sister and her family came home a few years ago, my mother is ecstatic. Some of what Brian talks about in his two shows is why.

This isn't just home, it's opportunity.

Tuesday nights Byline:

And yes, Chief Bear is that good.

Yes, it was an excellent program.

For some reason I have not been able to get the SunNews website for a couple of days now. I clicked on your link and can not get that either.

All I get is: 500 Internal Server Error nginx/0.5.33

Lived in Regina 77 till 81 ... good jobs to be had and I met plenty of good people.

But by the end of 79 the place felt like being in a trap.

Used to drive to Banff on weekends just to get out.
Drive 3 1/2 hours north to go fishing.

Should have my pilots license sooner.

Caught both shows and they made be proud to be Sask born and bred. Many in the national media often have the attitude that Saskatchewan is merely that space on the map that they fly over before landing in Calgary so SUN should be congratulated for its continuing interest in my province.

That is what happens when you don't put a liberal government into power. Ontario is learning the consequences of voting liberal and Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are next to pay for the folly of voting liberal.

I feel the main reason Saskatchewan is such a great place now is that they threw out the NDP Government. Brad Wall is the best thing that could have ever happened and the prosperity happening makes this so evident.
Go Riders!!!!!

i watched this last evening. Very impressive!

No Ontario hasn't learned the consequences of voting Liberal. Not at all. SK and AB will continue to pay for NB and NS follies. NB and NS pay for nothing.

I can't see how the Liberal left could ever stand for this!

This must be akin to a whole plantation of runaway slaves making it across the river and they're stuck on the opposite side with white hoods and flaming torches watching them get away.

They must be outraged - "If Justin gets in he'll definitely fix their uppity wagons, that is of sure, unhuh. you betcha"

"...Many in the national media often have the attitude that Saskatchewan is merely that space on the map that they fly over ..."

I do not expect that getting their attention will turn out well for us in the long run.

Sask Party a friend of business? I call Bull Crap. Brad Wall and his government did diddly-squat to level the playing field for me ewaste company. Brad Wall and his government FAILED in his Promise of Saskatchewan for my company and free market ewaste companies like mine in Saskatchewn. We got sold down the river by both the NDP and the Sask Party. Check out some of the postings about SWEEP here in the SDA archives.

I thought Lily did a great job of broadcasting to the liberal-deindustialized east, that Sask. is doing well and is the place for young families to make a go of it in this collectivist-ravaged nation.

Great to see Sask. is open for business and thriving after so many years in a socialist-made economic and cultual depression.I spent may happy hours hunting and fishing there and Sask. has some of the nicest folks on the planet.

However, I had to turn off the TV when the Rider-nation fans were allowed to collapse the IQ bell curve ;-)

I've seen what the Dakota Whitecap Reserve was like, before and after Chief Bear was elected.
This man has done a remarkable job and could be used as an example to others as to what can happen if you want it bad enough.
He will be around a long time.
And yes....he's that good.

"Sask. is doing well and is the place for young families to make a go of it in this collectivist-ravaged nation."

I used to worry that Sask. would become home to many easterners who, through idiotic voting choices, created an socialist economic hell from which they wished to escape. My fear was that they would bring their mindless voting tendencies with them.

But, on second thought, I decided that since prosperity in Sask. could be attained through hard work and the desire to succeed, these types of people, the something for nothing crowd, would have no interest in settling here. Much easier to remain in a socialist backwater and let the government make all the decisions and provide nanny state services. At least until the money runs out.
