It's Probably Nothing

TRUST THE EXPERTS: "Obama's new Ebola czar is a long-time Democratic operative and lobbyist with zero agency administrative experience."

Ebola czar?

What's particularly interesting about this discussion, then, is that nobody has even discussed the fact that the federal government not ten years ago created and funded a brand new office in the Health and Human Services Department specifically to coordinate preparation for and response to public health threats like Ebola. The woman who heads that office, and reports directly to the HHS secretary, has been mysteriously invisible from the public handling of this threat. And she's still on the job even though three years ago she was embroiled in a huge scandal of funneling a major stream of funding to a company with ties to a Democratic donor--and away from a company that was developing a treatment now being used on Ebola patients.

"If this Ebola thing's nothing to worry bout, why are they putting cars in body bags?"

I agree with Ken Kulak, on the other thread.....this thing has got away from them.

Let us pray...to who....all of them.

The All-Father wove the skein of your life a long time ago. Go and hide in a hole if you wish, but you won't live one instant longer. Your fate is fixed. Fear profits a man nothing.

This paragraph explains why Democrats are everywhere trying to down play the Ebola issue. It has the potential to shut down their project to re-populate America with destitute peasants of color who will be loyal Democrat voters for generations:

--Ebola has the potential to reshuffle American attitudes to immigration. If you agree to seal the borders to mitigate the risks from Ebola, you’re implicitly rejecting the “open borders” mindset and admitting that there are cases in which government has a duty to protect citizens from outsiders. Some people on the left admit to seeing this as the thin end of the wedge. Writing in the New Yorker, Michael Specter lamented, “Several politicians, like Governor Bobby Jindal, of Louisiana, have turned the epidemic into fodder for their campaign to halt immigration.” And that sort of thing just can’t be allowed.--

The paragraph comes from this amazing article about the true threat of Ebola:

Who needs a czar when you have a Surgeon General... oh, wait.

Now looky here, we made an exception in 1940 for FDR,and that worked out pretty well, we (allegedly) won that war.

SO, using the same logic,in an even worse scenario, we can't change horses in midstream, we MUST Re-elect the President!

Ooooh,I got a tingle up my leg just typing that!

I did not use my computer, email or cell phone for 10 days. today I turned it on and dumped all email without reading any. the cell phone is still off and may never be used again. every day the terminally stupid grow stronger and we grow weaker. I have a brother-in-law who has very little education. you might say he has a handicap. the man can build you a house from the foundation to the roof and do it right. seems to me we need some people with a whole lot less education taking charge of things, because the so called intellectual elite have screwed and continue to screw things up.

No corpse left behind. This is giving the concept of health tourism a whole new spin.

The Left owns the culture. That means that everything is seen and done through a political lens. The above appointee is just another political soldier with no underlying related technical knowledge (not unlike the CoC) doing his job to politicize his (not your) bureaucracy. This is just one of the many down sides of state run enterprises. When conservatives assume to have power they rarely do away with such bureaucracies but fall into the socialist trap in thinking that they can run it better until the dominant culture returns to take back their "rightful" spoils. Leviathan rarely shrinks but engorges until ultimate collapse.

Crony Capitalism much?

Here's why he's the "NEW" Czar #2.

This is the mission statement of the company he owns.

It just happens to be named "Revolution"
The logo's a red "r"

"Revolution invests in people and ideas that can change the world. Our mission is to build disruptive, innovative companies that offer consumers more choice, convenience, and control in their lives. We bring a unique strategy and approach to investing in and building significant companies.

CONSUMERS DESERVE A REVOLUTION

We look for companies that are attacking large, traditional industries with innovative new products and services. Many existing industries are on the brink of disruptive change, driven by new technological possibilities and consumer psychographic trends. We aim to transform markets by shifting power to consumers, and in the process create massive value in our companies.

ENTREPRENEURS ARE THE CHANGE AGENTS

Passionate entrepreneurs are the driving force behind transformative change. We seek to partner with great entrepreneurs and management teams who share our desire to change the world and want our help as their hands-on partner in building their company. We have successfully led our own companies, and bring our proven expertise in helping expand ideas from niche to mass and building companies from big to small.

MANY INVESTORS, ONLY ONE REVOLUTION

We are business builders, not just investors. We get involved in "speed-up" situations where we believe our capital, time, and expertise can uniquely make a game-changing difference. Revolution brings our tremendous passion, relentless focus, renowned reputations, unparalleled contacts, and unwavering commitment to helping build companies. We believe in a "built to last" approach, preferring to invest with a longer-term horizon to maximize both impact and returns."

What could possibly go wrong?

Obama Plans to Let Ebola-infected Foreigners Into U.S. for Treatment

The one is a traitor. Hope for Americas sake they wake the f up.

Just watched on CBC (now I have to go decontam...) the suit-ups Ontario is setting up for frontline nurses in the 10 Ontario hospitals. Sadly, they are designed completely wrong for virus protection for workers working with patients with splash and projectile contamination sources. Staff are not protected in these get-ups. As they are set-up they are only protective if you plan to work with your back to the patient...

Major faults:

1) They open from the front - should open in the back and be unbroken and contiguous in all frontal regions.

2) the integral head hoodie is wrapping around the faceshield - wrong, splash can enter aroun the hoodie. Better, a separate headcover with integral clear plastic shield (like a welder's hood) and a long skirt for disinfectant washdown.

3)Wearing sleeves ove the gloves - wrong -same problem - splash can get into the cuff between the glove and sleeve. Standard protocol should be double gloving - as shown with gloves tucked under sleeves, then an overglove wirh a long guantlet covering back on the arm.

4)Boots to at least the knee, with an elasticised cuff below the ankle, to facilitate a complete disinfectant washdown.

"zero agency administrative experience"?

What about health industry experience?

Power obsessed commies network - kinda like dogs sniffing each other's butts, klepto-coms can only trust their own corrupt kind - so what's new about that. If you want to understand Obama state policy read up on the operational modes of the old soviet oligarchs. same crap - different pile.
