About Kate
Why this blog?
Until this moment
I have been forced
to listen while media
and politicians alike
have told me
"what Canadians think".
In all that time they
never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio - "You don't speak for me."

But it takes skill to flip a hamburger. To develop a webpage, why, anyone could do it!
(sarcasm function disabled)
Interesting that a group that demands a $20 an hour minimum wage for high school dropout burger flippers will only pay $13 an hour for a web developer. And on top of that they will only employ that web developer for 20 hours a week so they don't have to pay benefits. Typical leftist hypocrisy.
That position isn't for a web developer. It's for a web content manager, someone who updates the content on the main site by posting images, articles, correcting links, etc. IOW, what every blogger does.
So still not worth $20 an hour?
Considering the type of prospective applicant, you could add exploiter of child labor to their list of charges.
Minimum wage is probably about right for that. It's the sort of thing you'd ask an intern to do.
Any Party going by the name "Freedom Socialist Party" should be immune from any expectation of logic and consistency. It would be similar to the "Life Suicide Party" or "Truth Liar Party" or "Moral Thieves" or......
Surely the successful applicant would have to be committed to the "movement"
and be expected to donate the bulk of his "earnings" back to the party?
Valiant effort, Robert L. But I don't think it worked (see below). ;)
$18 per hour for a web developer? Good luck.
I know of web developers who will work that cheap. Problem is, they all have eight legs each...
