It's not food, it's violence.

"speciesist"

I've used the term for years, but I thought I was mocking people like that with satire.

The poor dear.

She is suffering. And I can tell she obviously needs more DNA in her diet.

So tired of these self righteous people invading every aspect and minute of our lives. Will have to carry a can of whipped cream in my purse in case I am eating tranquilly in a fast food place and one of these totalitarians walks in. Of course I would be charge with assault but it would be worth it.

It seems that there are many uncommitted sick people around these days.

Salivating for the day that her species dies off.

I have a hard time watching these videos. It's like watching the BBC "The Office" when it first aired. Getting that extremely uncomfortable embarrassed feeling because it was like you just witnessed someone airing out all their bad faults for the world to see. At least "The Office" was fake.

Too many people with too much time on their hands.

She's an excellent marketing tool...for anyone selling chickens.

Wonder if she has issues with ISIS beheading carnivore journalists?

Ah food fetishism. Perhaps the oldest and most pernicious of human taboos and superstitions. So, let's drill down into this a bit.

She and the rest of the extreme vegans object to consumption of meat or animal products, by which I take it means things like beef, dairy, pork, poultry, shrimp and other seafood. If we take this to the logical conclusion, this presumably means ALL members of the animal kingdom, insects, crustaceans (remember the shrimp?), nematodes, sponges are forbidden. No, not sponges? What would separate them from the rest?

And if it's only limited to Phylum Chordata, why would she object to shrimp? And after all, if animal killing is verboten that presumably means that pest control is unconscionable. So rats, mice can all run free from rat- and mouse-traps, and termites are free to knock down your house.

And a particularly dangerous question for her, what separates a human unborn embryo from her wailing lament about eggs? Is it merely a matter of trimesters?

So indeed, she's a speciesist. She will believe its highly appropriate to kill some forms of animal kingdom life, particularly her own, but not others. Might be a problem for her if caught out in the bush. Does she swat the mosquitoes or let them bite?

The great mathematician Euler had a famous epigram: "All logical systems eventually end in paradox." Since there's no logic whatsoever in the beliefs of the vegans, their "system" ends in paradox immediately.

I was called a "speciesist" (or was it "specieist"?) back in the mid-80s, after pointing out that an alleged "murdered moose" in a picture was a plastic elk. So it's not new.

Vegans do violence to plants. The same logic would make them "kingdomists". And if you happen to like lobster or mussels, that would make you a "phylumist". What fun this game is. Er, not.

Yes,now I can understand why governments don't want to address the problem of providing facilities for mentally ill people,it would be a building boom that would never stop.

When you want to be wearing the t-shirt that says," I love animals, I love them right next to my mashed potatoes".

Nothing tastes better than free-range, grass-fed vegan. It's healthier than eating carnivores.

Michael Coren showed some of this on his show tonight, and he had another vegan on who sympathized with her. Coren actually empathized somewhat too. But then, Coren is known to get all emotional over the late Christopher Hitchens too, no matter that the same vilified Oriana Fallaci for not telling him the contents of her last conversation with Benedict XVI just prior to her death by cancer. He (Hitchens) really wasn't a very nice fella.

Geez I hate that!

Opening a Drama Queen post an finding out it has nothing to do with turdo la doo...

"...Coren actually empathized somewhat too.

Coren is damned uncomfortable with the blunt speaking, give-him-a-kick-in-the-arse type of conservatives.

I remember him on Sun TV a few years ago when a cafeteria worker at a Quebec school got fired because she told a dickhead kid to stop eating like a pig. The story made headlines in the MSM because the kid's old lady came from the Phillipines - so the school board employee must have been racist, right? In any event, here's our Michael Coren tut-tut-tutting and grimacing and saying, "you NEVER humiliate a child!"

Holy Jeez! Here I was, all this time thinking that my childhood humiliations were a pretty useful learning tool. How could I have been so wrong?

I know she wasn't trying but that is one of the funniest things I have seen today

Wow! Is she related to these Earth First tree mourners?

I am unmoved by Snow's plight. As Ted Nugent once said, "If God did not intend for us to eat animals, she wouldn't have made them out of meat!"

Just more objective confirmation that progressive left ideologies are all about normalizing morbid psychosis as political morality.

Hummmmmmm. When I see these vegans out on the back forty, eating grass on their hands and knees, then they might have some validity.Meanwhile,my rare steak is done on the barbie.Cheers

"It seems that there are many uncommitted sick people around these days."

Yes, as someone commented a few days ago in SDA (was it in that "genderqueer" passport business?), a lot of these people really do appear mentally unhinged.

PETA stands for "People Eating Tasty Animals"

I'm reminded of G.K. Chesterton's definition of a paradox:

To paraphrase - "Truth standing on it's head to get your attention"

I don't know what animal "Snow" is/was; pig, chicken, goat, lamb, cow. But consider: If the entire world was vegan "Snow" probably would have never been born. I can say (with "a high degree of certainty") that the population of pigs, chickens, goats, lambs, cows, etc would drop by 95% to 99% if they were not raised for food.

So it goes.......
